With cash at 32p a share, no debt, Gas production of about $3m a quarter, 10tcf exploration potential, this (like LBE) is looking a safe haven from the current market turmoil.

Apologies, Straighttalker, the epithet was unnecessary and ill-informed. It comes from my tendency to regard all promoters generically as 'slime' and so it was more a comment about job title eg Slime, Chief slime, junior slime, etc.

But I note he first attempts to talk about WNB, stutters badly throughout EWT delays, and goes back to script on Wressle - so, from this, I guess immediate EA approval is not a given. But, long term, they cannot ignore this find for its benefit to UK plc - so approval will be given imo - but it might take time.

For a LTH this is reassuring. This delay seems entirely down to jobsworths at the EA; and not a more worrying problem of lack of finance (RBD RNS states Rathlin fully funded - my main concern previously ala Tullow, in Guyana). In other words, although snail's pace, all is in order and progressing as well as can be expected given UK authorities scrupulous diligence - not a bad thing really.

I'm more a LTH, not a trader, and don't post here frequently, although UJO is a substantial part of my portfolio - but just to say that I am very grateful for some clarity here (particularly that Rathlin is fully funded - [though Humber may be struggling]) - it's been a long time coming. No doubt the bashers will try and hold this down today, but the news is solid enough for me to continue to hold, and I will sleep more easily tonight.

Yes, very weird - I couldn't find my post on the main board (only in my history), so posted second message saying 'first message removed' - then, getting back to the main board, I now find both messages on the board. Peculiar state of affairs.
