The EUA has been with their health authority for, 4 months now.
I did a bit (not by anymeans lots) research to try and find out average time frames. It's very much a how long is a piece of string type thing, sometimes short time sometimes a very long time but the best I could get as a ballpark was 4 to 6 months.
It's now been in the process for 4 months so I think/hope we are in the hot zone for when this could come in.
If you Google Taiwan covid cases you can see cases have been going up their fast and with it deaths, you would hope this focuses minds and they get a move on.
Remember it will be for a 10 million tests minium, posability up to 30 million....no chicken feed for any company, not alone one currently valued as low as ABDX!

The GLP was founded to fight against Brexit. Gina Miller, remember her? She was the lady in the news taking the Government to court over article 50…. Who were her lawyers, yes the Good law project! A firm and crowd funding page set up in 2015 same year as the referendum with one purpose, stop or make Brexit as difficult as possible.
After this, they (GLP) went oh’ not a good business model as only half the country would ever think of giving us money, so the dawn of the new GLP here to hold the government account for just about everything was born. However, they have same overall mission, just make things as difficult and time consuming as possible with a aim to make Brexit look as bad (not very hard) decision.
Everyone was screaming why on earth are they not going after the multiple Billion-pound Innova contracts? Answer, not a UK firm so could not do the ‘State Aid’ angle (something UK was/is still bound to in European law). If you note, ALL of their cases with the government involve UK companies only, “helping their mates” etc…. major lefty lawyers wanting to disrupt the government and still really peed off they lost the Brexit case is all they are.

Mcap of under £10 million, they had over £7 million in cash (including the recently received £1.5 million)
So lets say £1 million been spent since then (probably less) so £6 mill cash, values the business and all its other assets at under £4 million.
The regular established parts of the business turns over between £2/3 million a year.
They have 3 Technical Transfers going through at the moment which will add to the manufacturing arm, then another 3 soon to be started (before the end of the year) after that so a good pipeline coming through. Then there will be more ‘in-house’ tests being developed and moving into production next year, there is also all the Deepverge tests coming through on top of this.
Also any sales from the Abingdon_simply_test site launch a few months ago which will be new money on the yearly accounts.
This is what we know, there is also the chance of a big contract at any time. Exporting goods has never been so costly and the weak pound could really help ABDX, with their fully automated systems there can’t be much in it to produce in China and have all that shipping costs and admin to getting test produced here and maybe sent out across Europe.
All in all you get a lot going on for a value of £4 million (7/8p a share), safe (no chance of any sort of money troubles for at least another year) but still with the prospect of 3/4/5/6/7 bagging at any moment in time.

They previously said they were in the middle of a Technical Transfer for a fertility test.... are one of these being manufactured by ABDX?..... you would think they would tell us if so but you can never sure with these lot.

The MM's were always going to have a treeshake this morning. As stated before, not many free float shares out there so any opportunities to keep their levels stable will be taken.

It's the Good (ha!) Law Project... much could be said about who they are but from a personal prospective I would just summarise,, 'what' they are is a bunch of lawyer ****s!

As stated earlier, I don't even have a twitter account so hardly Mr social media but after a small bit of googleing you can see the GLP have maybe met their day of reckoning!
Nothing wrong with a bit of do gooding in society, but to do it under the cover of "we just want good" when really you are clearly just about whipping certain parts of the public up with sensationalised headlines so they give you money, so you can pay yourselfs big money while also pursuing your political goals (AKA just use the courts to stay a constant pain in the goverments ass while alsos keeping yourselves in the news, so you get more hard core lefties giving you more monet techniques) is just wrong!
All the while they can't keep themselves to the same standards they supposedly stand for.. where is the apology, they would now hold the goverment to giving if it was the other way around??...Will never come, GLP found out and days numbered, good riddance! :)

Pumpky, I'm a little confused as well TBH, but presume the shortfall was paid at the time, I.e history tells us full amount but the 6.5 is what was under dispute so what the case was over....this said yours, anyone's eles guess as good as mine.

Over 60% of shares are in sticky hands, it leaves only 50 million ish avaliable to trade.
It always gave me hope during the bad days that none of these started to sell....ever! They see the potential I the future.

Here is a small (in comparison) company with good highly specialised clever people. Out of nowhere a pandemic hits that means their speciality makes them the most important people in the country/world. Government asks for their help, they say yes, do what is asked of them and achieve it …….fast forward a few months/ years and they are caught in the middle of political BS, government misters that instructed them to do what they did now backside covering and making out the tests were not good enough when the only problem was its was the wrong type of test….that THEY (Government) asked them to make…government balls up not ABDX!
Then major lefty GLP (oh we just want fair play justice, not interested in just disrupting the Torys at all) pounce on an opportunity to make the government look corrupt, all leading to ABDX caught in the middle of a political storm none of which was their doing…try and do the right thing and look where it gets you being the disappointing take from it all
A victory in the end but no winners just some good people at Abingdon who lost their jobs and livelihood all because of pollical BS coming out as losers.
Government and GLP hang your heads in shame! Hope your happy…. Now its hopefully time the good people at Abingdon can be.

I have to say, I was a little surprised to start with by the early big rise. This coming I suppose from the backdrop of the very disappointing rise we got when it was confirmed the DHSC was paying the lion share of their bill. I mean that was 4x the amount of todays £1.5 million yet we got a measly 4p rise from that…basically face value for cash in bank. In theory that could have meant just a 1.5p rise today.
But thinking about it, the last rise took the SP to 14p and now we are just 9p so in that sense the SP should have gone up more, just starting positions being the difference and this is where I think the market will correct itself and the rise will continue into next week.
As said earlier on here its much more then just money.
It is a big sigh of relief after a very long, reputation damaging saga that is now banished to the history books never to be mentioned again. As with the holding of the £1.5 million until the court case is completed, you wonder if there is a contract or two out there with the same clause?
It represents I hope a big turning point, interest momentum and feel good factor all back in town.
What would be most welcome now is some follow up news.. something hits next week and I think the SP will be very truly off on a big rerate run!
With the low free float, we always know whats coming with a good bit of news....Come on ABDX,! show them what you can do.

The directors are clearly confident and so and I, out with the gloom and hello positivity going forward...lots more to come, ooooh the Taiwan EUA hitting Monday!
