It is very odd that after seeing oil at Ntorya and planning the next well up-dip from it, that AEX suddenly stopped talking about oil. I'd suggest three possibilities for that:

1) They didn't want to get investors hopes up, just talk about the significant gas play and get it commercialised, if we hit oil let it be a surprise.

2) They wanted to squeeze SCIR out, due to its constant risk when it came to funding activities at Ruvuma. So don't mention oil, let SCIR sell out based on gas, then see if we hit oil at CH-1 after they are out.

3) To get the Government to back a pipeline and full field development, stop looking for oil. Tell the Government that it's huge TCF there. If we happen to hit oil after the pipeline is being built then so be it.

On the other point of where the oil went, MR is generalising on it. We know there was oil at NT-1 and 2, and we know the next up-dip traps to it are LOBE 2 and then LOBE 4, and that's where any company searching for oil would look for it.

I wonder which of the desertwolf01 gang is posting today, the original from Switzerland, the one with far better English, the one from Canada, the one from South America, or the one from South Africa?

AFC have SIX MONTHS in which to report, and they have just got a new CFO, so this thread is just another baseless and pointless distraction. AFC will announce results when they are ready to, and you can be certain that it will be within the required timeline. Probably after an S Series to ABB update IMVHO.

Mike Rego did another presentation in November 2020. He still believes the oil is there, and he knows far more about the science of Africa oil and gas than anyone else I reckon.

Mike Rego gives estimates in his videos as to how much oil was in a trap vs TCF of high pressure gas that replaced it. From this it's possible to calculate the approximate potential size in oil of any of the Ruvuma targets.

If you look on the London Stock Exchange, you will also see that 'the price' is the MID. This is the place where QFI stock is listed, it cannot be wrong despite that it rounds up the price to 2 decimal places, making it 1.53p MID and Last Closing Price.

As Mike Rego said, where is the oil now?

MR also said that oil was pushed up from the huge deep water traps by the huge amount of gas in those. It went up-dip, with oil shows consecutively up-dip at Mnazi bay, Likonde, Ntorya-1 and 2, then where?.

The next trap up-dip from Ntorya-2 is LOBE 2 which is being tested by CH-1a. There is another trap up-dip from LOBE 2, named LOBE 4. These are where the oil most likely moved to under the pressure from the gas at Ntorya-2.

LOBE 1 is below the gas containing LOBE 3 and would be tested by CH-1b.

MR's presentations talk of the oil being pushed up-dip, then when fractures occurred from tectonic movements, or just land settling, the oil would be isolated from the gas, and thus not pushed any further up-dip as gas pressure built in the other trap. This is how it is possible for any of these 3 traps to still just have oil in them.

The 3D Seismic will answer many questions on whether the 3 traps are no longer connected to LOBE 3, and thus could potentially still have oil in them. I look forward to the 3D Seismic results and analysis from ARA.

Initially his bashing was subtle but got more and more obvious and blatant, such that over the two years more on more people sussed him out, and his credibility dropped to zero.

Garmoan started his bashing campaign against AFC immediately after the price started dropping in January 2021 and he hasn't stopped for 2 years.

The intraday high BTW was 92p on December 29 2020, I just checked the live chart on ADVFN.

Finished up 3% or 35p equivalent in Berlin. I think tomorrow should bring a resumption of the ascent towards 68p and fair value based on current knowledge of our commercial pipeline.

At some point AFC's SP will not drift back down and I believe with recent news on manufacturing facilities etc., that point has already passed. There must be imminent news on another commercial contract, otherwise why expedite the manufacturing facility. Something must be brewing.

Now that we have the agreements and facilities in place to begin manufacturing at scale, more commercial orders must surely be imminent. I hope it's for EV chargers. If so I think the SP will finally take off. I did think we'd see a good rise today but RA is seeing to it that we don't. Hopefully he'll be done soon!

Then all of a sudden when the tech market drop started affecting AFC, he switched to trashing the company and AB.

Wow. I put everything in at just under 5p had over 200000 shares but bottled in February and sold in the low 30s and high 20s. I made a lot but now wish I'd held and looked away when it went back to the teens. I bought back in but have way less than 100k shares now. I admire your confidence to hold throughout. Good luck.

PPS, ITM, CWR, all bombing. It's a sector crash. Unfortunately AFC never got to enjoy the £billion plus MC, so seems a bit unfair that it gets dragged down to the same degree. Maybe the market is moving to a more realistic valuation for these shares based on fundamentals. Hopefully this will reverse with investors jumping in at lower levels. We could do with some good news to stop the rot and encourage more buyers.

The lack of sales news is frustrating. I just hope AB hasn't been indulging in over hyping short-term expectations. There's a lot of talk about the solid cell but confirmation via sales that the liquid unit is commercially viable is needed to get us moving until such time as the S cell becomes available. Here's hoping next week and the Investor Day brings us more clarity on our commercialisation glide path and future revenues. Patience can only last so long.

It is a credible theory. I hope it's wrong but AB's refusal to allow a proper update is leaving everyone guessing. If the deal has fallen through AB must go. I know few agree with me on here but AB's track record and propensity to promise the earth but deliver very little is to blame for our current SP

I guess it is a contradiction to say 2-5 but could be higher. Perhaps they got confused with what WFI had told them and the 2-5 is for sites A and B only, and substantially higher brings in other sites?. That might explain why the text was changed between 2021 and 2022 to include the substantially higher, if QFI had clarified it to Edison, but on editing they introduced the contradiction instead of rewriting the whole sentence correctly?.

We just need to ask QFI or Edison to clarify it at some point.

Also, the Market Capitalisation, the most major of all financial data, as it is the current valuation of the company, is based on the MID not the ASK or BID.

Any offer for a company in a takeover is stated as a percentage above the MID, not the ASK or BID.

So this site also has "the price" as the MID.

If the MID didn't exist, then you end up with two prices, on price you can buy at and one price you can sell at. Something can't have two prices, it has to have one price, and that is why the MID exists as the price.

Because Extreme E needed a new system to power the entire site, and to provide a load of Hydrogen for the introduction of Hydrogen powered race cars. AFC would not have something that big or that provided that much Hydrogen on site in the short term, likely at short notice, so Extreme E had to look elsewhere, which they did, and now have a new system on site that does all that.

AFC no longer need Extreme E anyway. They have done Extremely (!!) well out of it, and have ABB, Acciona, Altaqaa, and no doubt many other relationships from being there. But now it is time for the S Series to go live and orders for that and the Power Tower to flow in.

AFC could still return to Extreme E, but as part of the Extreme E plans to convert the St Helens to Hydrogen. Just look at the Vard project, as that is the template.

Sorry you don't get it. The price is the MID price, always has been. The spread is the difference that MM's put either side of the price so they make a profit. What you pay is not the price, it's the price plus MM commission. When you sell you get the price minus the MM commission.

'The price' is the MID price, always has been in the stock market, ever since it was born.

Advertised BID and ASK are never the price you get when you buy or sell, as these are just the average across advertised prices from MM's. Buy from on MM and you'll pay more, buy from another MM and you'll pay less, buy from SETS and you'll get what the seller will take, all different, and the same principle for sells.

The chart shows a breakout to the upside of the triangle, the chart uses the mid price, as charts have always done.
