Absolutely, but to determine the amount of gas and/or oil they just do a volume calculation, no way do they say "There ARE 500m barrels of oil down there, just drill it and connect a pipeline" which is what Aimster was claiming. That's why exploration wells are drilled, because if the Seismic showed what was down there, every well drilled would be a production well.

I also doubt very much any scientist or geologist putting their name to a claim of either oil or gas in a trap, on an RNS.

Even if the scientists at ARA were brilliant enough to determine Hydrocarbons in the trap(s), there's no way they can distinguish between oil and gas from the Seismic.

I don't post for the sake of posting, or for some hidden agenda like the con men on here, I just post my thoughts when I have them and will continue to do that.

Maybe, just maybe Aimster doesn't know what they are talking about. Oil showing up on 3D Seismic????, now that would be novel, and save oil explorers a lot of time and money LOL!!

Interim Period Trading Statement

Ahead of the release of the Company's interim results on 24 April 2023, Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR), the UK Energy Company, is pleased to provide a summary trading update in relation to the six months period ending 31 January 2023 (the "Interim Period").

-- Production for the Interim Period was up by 27% to 46,465 barrels of oil equivalent ("boe") equating to a rate of 253 boe per day ("boepd"), ahead of full-year guidance of 225-245 boepd (H1 2022: 36,714 boe and 200 boepd)

-- Unaudited revenue for the Interim Period was up 46% to GBP3.725 million (H1 2022: GBP2.551 million)

-- As at 31 January 2023 the Company had cash and cash equivalents of GBP5.524 million (H1 2022: 2.084 million) and net current assets of GBP7.334 million (H1 2022: 1.165 million)

The Company is continuing to make good progress across its conventional assets and particularly in relation to the near-term operational objectives set out in the 2022 annual report. Production continues to be strong, particularly from Wressle, where Egdon has also progressed with the gas utilisation and monetisation scheme through the installation of the micro-turbines - which will eliminate routine on site diesel generation - and where work is ongoing on the gas to wire project. The Company is progressing towards submitting planning and permitting for further development at Wressle and finalising a programme of drilling in our exploration and development/redevelopment projects for 2023-24. Egdon is also making good progress on a potentially material renewable energy, green hydrogen and energy storage project.

Commenting on the trading update, Mark Abbott, Managing Director of Egdon, said:

We all know that the results will show a loss, as up to end of October last year (when the results run to) we only had ABB order and Extreme E plus the start of a couple of Power Tower leases. We also know that the con men will ignore all of the positives in the RNS and just focus on the loss during their daily attacks on AFC.

For those with more sense and an actual interest in the company and where it is going, the loss has been factored in for a long time already, overly so IMVHO, as the loss was know the day that AFC announced it's fundraising for expansion and gearing up manufacturing and thus should be fully expected by the market, not a surprise in any way, contrary to what the con men will try to hype it up to be.

Investors need to ignore the garbage spouted by the crooks and concentrate on what is said outside of the financials, such as progress with the S Series, leases and potential sales of Power Towers, Alkamem, bigger systems of Power Tower and the 1MW S Series, Ammonia Cracker and Methanol Reformer integration, manufacturing scaling up for mass production, staffing level, etc.

Livista Energy partners with CAA Mining to process lithium in Ghana

Livista's European facility is expected to begin production in 2026

European lithium refiner Livista Energy said on Monday that it has formed a partnership with African miner CAA Mining to set up a conversion facility in Takoradi, western Ghana for the processing of lithium.

Livista aims to convert spodumene, a mineral with lithium content, produced in Ghana into an intermediary lithium chemical at the facility, which would then be exported to the company's European plant for further refining.

Building local lithium refining capability in Ghana would provide employment opportunities and deliver new sources for the African country's gross domestic product, said Martin Kwaku Ayisi, the chief executive of Minerals Commission Ghana.

My thoughts are that people were waiting for it to consolidate and start to rise again before buying back in. Some bought at the bottom, but at the time were just buying from the nervous investors fleeing over the BO report because they didn't DYOR and see it was a load of guff. Now as you say the excitement is over, I also expect it to start rising again.

As per my chart from a couple of days ago, I say it has bottomed out.
