For shipping, our fuel cells will have to wait a while to do propulsion, but right now they could easily replace the on board diesel gensets used for ancillary power. Think cruise ships and all the power that is used on board, it doesn't come from the propulsion engine, it comes from diesel gensets.

Maybe they expect to be the subject of some AFC news this week and got a bit over excited?

My point is, it's a joint development, we don't pay De Nora as we would a contractor. They are a partner. They are giving us their services in anticipation of being the chosen supplier of our electrodes once we move to commercial sales.

In at least one AB video he says De Nora have saved us loads by providing multiple electrode experts and their electrode science for free.

But we do, we have De Nora!

How much have De Nora spent in time and money developing our electrodes and Alkamem, at zero cost to AFC? They are just as valid as a company putting money into CWR or ITM, as we have saved tens of millions, and De Nora have driven progress themselves, we didn't need to put any pressure on them to get the results that have lead us to low cost commercial fuel cells with great longevity.

But at what price, and are they manufactured using green energy? What is their carbon footprint?

There are panels with high efficiency and made using green electricity, those made by REC have probably the lowest carbon footprint.

Air Products were partners with AFC on the Power Up project and are now going massive with green Ammonia production.

"US industrial gas and chemical business Air Products has announced a $5bn joint investment in a chemical production plant in Saudi Arabia powered by 4GW of renewable energy. The company will form a joint venture with Saudi generator ACWA Power and tech accelerator city Neom to jointly fund a power-to-hydrogen-to-ammonia facility."

Festivals like Glastonbury and Download. These are always trying to be greener, are always in the summer so no issues using Solar, they are most often in remote locations so need to use diesel generators, there are tens of thousands held every year, the remote locations are usually huge so plenty of space for solar but as the festivals run into the early hours they would need power storage.

Zero chance of being bought out soon, typical rampers comment without knowing much about the company, just read a few recent news items.

I've held since 2008, I know the company extremely well, it's products, abd it's markets. I can even read and understand how the products work by reading the Patents. Zero chance of being bought out in the next 2 years, they have to prove the products commercially, prove profitability, and grow their markets first

And up steps AFC with Ammonia....

AFC have no PROVEN Electrolyser, no CE Marked Electrolyser. Look at ITM history and you'll see it's not possible to make a commercial Electrolyser from a Patent in such a short time, let alone get it proven and CE marked in time for next year's Extreme E series.

ITM would also be an AIM company helping an AIM company.

Probably too early to be Alkamem, as there are no products using it yet, and it needs scale up and testing first.

De Nora make old type chlor-alkali electrolysers, way too big.

So it's possibly a tender process. It would be very interesting however, if they kept it British and used an ITM electrolyser. AFC and ITM know each other from Hydrogen groups they are in and conferences they have attended. ITM have also won tenders so must be priced competitively now. So my money is currently on ITM.

I'm thinking that very soon we'll see a big EV charger deal for motorway services or a fleet owner.

How long before Formula E sign up for a Green Ammonia system for its 2021 series?

Formula E could easily use an AFC system with green Ammonia, as I suggested to them very early this year.
