Nobody can tell how beneficial a member of staff has been or will be to the company by looking at LinkedIn or Twitter.

Nobody knows what depth of knowledge and experience that member of staff can put on their CV either.

Therefore, anyone making claims about the validity of any employee, is posting total garbage, because they don't have any of the above information on which to make a judgement call, and never will have.

As I said one here a couple of weeks ago, Siemens could use AFC Fuel Cells, as it will mean they'll have a cheaper FC than their PEM, and the Hydrogen won't need the extra clean up to 5 x 9'S that PEM needs, giving them a meaningfully lower CAPEX and OPEX.

Siemens follow AFC on Twitter and are also in the Hydrogen Council with AFC.

Engie, Australian ammonia supplier to build hydrogen hub

Engie has published the findings of its long-awaited feasibility study with Yara on the development of renewable hydrogen and ammonia. They plan to build new large-scale facilities in Western Australia, starting with a 10 MW solar farm and electrolyzer.

The UK’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) recently published the feasibility study for its Ammonia to Green Hydrogen Project. This studies the techno-economic feasibility of importing green ammonia in order to supply large volumes of high-purity low-carbon hydrogen in the UK. The project has been designed and delivered by a heavyweight consortium of ENGIE, Siemens, Ecuity Consulting, and the UK’s STFC. The feasibility study, which is publicly available, represents the conclusion of Phase One of this project. Phase Two is demonstration: “to raise the TRL of a lithium imide based ammonia cracker from 4 to 6/7,” meaning that the technology is ready for deployment.

In 2019, Isabelle Kocher announces the strategic plan of the company for the 2019-2021 period, with an ambition to become the world leader in the zero-carbon transition. The strategic shift includes accelerating its investments in renewable energies and focusing on high-value-added services to the clients.

Isabelle Kocher announces the definitive exit of coal activities. Engie plans to invest another €12 billion in renewable activities, partly financed by the sale of €6 billion assets (including the last coal plants).

The 12 billion break down as follows: 3 to 3.3 billion into gas infrastructure; 4 to 5 billion into client services and solutions[buzzword]; and 2.3 to 2.8 billion into renewable energies,[40] adding a 9 GWH production capacity, to reach a renewable installed capacity of 52 to 64 GW by 2026.[41]

As far as the services are concerned, Isabelle Kocher's plan is to develop "energy transition as a service"[42] for large companies and metropolises, whom she says are driving the "second wave of energy transition" by searching ways to reduce their carbon emissions (the first wave having been driven by the states). She also says it might be "the invention of a new industry" of a 1 billion dollar potential value.[43]

We won't get the final results RNS until around 13 months after the agreement, it's past the 12 months in the announcement so I'd be wanting a detailed update on Hiiroc, even if they still have 5 months to go they must have done a lot of work in 13 months that they can tell us about.

The other possibility of course, is that they have advanced at high speed and completed the prototype within 13 months, which would mean a nice tasty 'Prototype Completed' RNS prior to the results RNS. Not a coincidence though :-D

All they need is an AFC Fuel Cell, they have all the other parts needed for AFC off-grid solutions.

I'd put these quite high on my list for a strategic partner deal.

I'm hoping for an update in the final results in Feb, even if it just says "ongoing development", but would be better if they gave us more details of progress made.

The deal with Hiiroc was signed a year ago. At the time we were told Hiiroc's systems was "proven in early testing !". So they have had a whole year since then to develop it. They must have made some progress in that time.

"The two companies have agreed to enter into a Commercialisation Agreement that will see AFC Energy obtain global preferential rights to integrate HiiROC’s plasma-based technology with its proprietary H-Power fuel cell, including an initial reduction in hydrogen cost to AFC Energy derived from the system (cumulatively valued at £2m).
AFC Energy will also be granted exclusive rights to HiiROC’s technology in key regions, including the UK, Europe and Australia, in the field of electrified transportation – including electric vehicles.
It is anticipated that the Commercialisation Agreement will contain full commercial terms and principles that the parties intend to be bound to based on ongoing development work conducted in 2020."

It's possible a lot of it's upside was expected once Biden won the election and thus priced in since he won, but then again some big buyers only buy in when things like this are confirmed, so not as much of a jump as if it was news out of the blue, but a jump nonetheless.

I'm looking at the news flow below.

Although it looks like a month gap, Ricardo actually signed their deal just 10 working days after ABB signed theirs.

This gives me more belief that AFC did a presentation to potential strategic partners (Including ABB and Ricardo) at the new factory around the end of November, including seeing the completed (and/or) Extreme E, ACCIONA, Juelich systems.

If that is the case and they had many more strategic partners or clients visiting at that time (maybe spaced over a few days for covid distancing and travel availability), then more agreements or deals could be here very soon.

What don't you understand about this bit:

As I have pointed out several times, the Funds ….. DO HAVE LIMITS, MCAP BASED LIMITS, it is written there in black and white! Maybe if you read it a dozen times it will eventually make sense to you!

I will leave it to readers to decide for themselves whether I am right or wrong, you can groan on about it as much as you like, but from this point on I shall be ignoring it for the better of the board.
