It's very easy to do what he does with any scenario, here's an example:

As you can see, what garmoan does on here every day is really easy for anyone to do, it only took me a minute to come up with that, garmoan has all day every day to think up his next piece of garbage.

None of those questions would be his perspective, or his worries/fears, it's all just BS made up to scaremonger and create negativity, exactly the same as his daily BS posts.

I can imagine someone called Bob hearing those questions one at a time, and as the doubts get deeper into his subconscious he cancels his trip to the pub and stays in for beans on toast and a can of Fosters. In the UK, probably 50% of nameplate or less I'd guess. Which would at least double the land requirement if they wanted to still offer full charging capacity at their hubs.

I've been thinking further on this from last night.

Gridserve could very easily be one of the ABB Clients demanding the smaller footprint S Series, purely due to space restrictions when looking at 4.2MW for a site. The difference between an L Series and an S Series at that power level is:

4.2MW L Series = approximately 10 x 40' containers at 400kW each + fuel storage + MW battery storage
4.2MW S Series = approximately 2 x 40' containers at 2MW each + fuel storage + MW battery storage

4.2MW of EV Chargers in the UK in one. Solar needs around 5 acres per MW in the UK, so each site would take up 21 acres for Solar. Put that against a few 40ft containers and an Ammonia Storage tank and it makes far more sense. Just put trees or crops on the land instead and use it as CO2 offsetting. GridServe are planning over 50 sites, that's 1,050 acres of solar just for EV charging. It all sounds good on paper to use solar, but that is a lot of land with no crops or trees on it. The Green Ammonia AFC systems would use is more likely to come from the desert or places where crops and trees don't grow, so that makes more sense to me from an environmental perspective.

They didn't, but I wouldn't read anything into that, as the vast majority of companies I've emailed don't acknowledge. Some of those now have deals with AFC that were being worked on before I emailed them, thus they were already under NDA. Others may not acknowledge any unsolicited emails as a company policy, even though they do forward the email to a relevant department if it appears genuine and potentially useful. Gridserve is a small company and only has a couple of departments, I emailed the Development department directly, so the email would have reached the right department without a need for anyone to forward it to them.

Gridserve will also know of AFC Energy via ABB's news distributed to it's clients, and likely through Gridserve's own issues of powering 12 x 350kW EV Chargers on the UK Grid.

Gridserve can pump all the Solar power it likes into the grid. The big problem is how to get that much power out of the grid at the locations where Gridserve is building it's EV Charging Hubs.

12 x 350kW is a massive 4.2MW. That would require a multi-million pound Substation, plus huge new cabling to it for potentially a lot of miles.

AFC solves the issue and can still be 100% green by way of Green Hydrogen or Green Ammonia. Gridserve just leverage the income from their Solar against the cost of the H2/Ammonia.

If you think perhaps Gridserve have not heard of AFC Energy, think again, because I emailed the following to them in March 2021.

I just watched the interview on Fully Charged Show regarding the Ecotricity agreement.

One thing I picked up on is this comment by Toddington "It's also really exciting because the Government has been recently announcing that they want to see six to twelve high powered chargers in many locations as well on the Motorway network, and that's exactly what we are trying to do as well. We didn't have those plans, because of the Government it just makes sense that is what needs to happen. It's just a really good fit, I mean, you can see behind me there are six chargers, six 350kw chargers on each side, so it's ideally one or two units of that. This had me thinking that you should look at AFC Energy and their off-grid zero emissions power, which is based on Fuel Cells that can use easily stored Green Ammonia as it's fuel. These Fuel Cell systems are containerised, so you could put them on a site which has a restricted Grid connection, then, once the Grid is eventually upgraded, you can move the Fuel Cell system to another site. This would enable a full install of 12 x 350kW EV Chargers in any location.

These Fuel Cell systems can also provide permanent off-grid power to enable EV Charging installations at remote locations, expanding the possibilities for your business into more remote areas such as along the North Coast 500 route in Scotland.

I also have my eyes set on the Extreme E event at Bovington (Army) tank ranges in Dorset on 18/19 December.

We already had an agreement signed at an Extreme E event (Altaaqa). We also had multiple people from industry and investment worlds attend the Extreme E events and see the Fuel Cell EV Charger there.

We have also had Major general Simon Hutchings saying how he's looking forward to seeing the AFC EV Charger there.

The Army have had plenty of time since the announcement that the event will take place there, to visit AFC, to work out what size system they would like to start with, to get costs for the system, to get prices and logistics for fuelling the system, and to get a contract written up for signing at the event. So it is quite possible that something very nice could come out of that event for AFC and it's shareholders.

You also have to consider that when AFC release big news, a lot of investors will search for forums for AFC and will find this one easily, so if you create one somewhere else you then need to get it ranked highly on search engines.

I think it would be better to clean up this board by filtering the con men and trolls, and if anyone refuses to and keeps replying to con men and trolls, filter them too. Eventually the lot of them will get bored with talking sh** between themselves and having no effect on long termers or the market, and they'll all fade to dust.

That Red Diesel ban comes in on 1st April, after that, construction Diesel costs construction companies DOUBLE. On top of that, they all need to get their Carbon Footprint down, and getting rid of Diesel usage is an easy quick win on that front.

Electric vehicle boom fuels rise in UK new car sales

The number of new cars sold in the UK rose for the first time in four months in November, fuelled by a doubling of sales of electric vehicles as consumers increasingly look to more environmentally friendly forms of transport.

Almost 22,000 pure electric vehicles were registered in November, more than double the 10,345 registered in the same month last year, as the share of total sales accounted for by battery-powered electric vehicles climbed to 19%.

Sales of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles also rose 40% year on year, to 10,796, meaning in total 28% of cars sold in November were capable of zero-emission driving. Meanwhile, sales of diesel vehicles continued to plummet, down 63% compared with a year ago, while new petrol vehicle sales were down 10%.

“The continued acceleration of electrified vehicle registrations is good for the industry, the consumer and the environment,” Hawes said. “But with the pace of public charging infrastructure struggling to keep up, we need swift action and binding public charger targets so that everyone can be part of the electric vehicle revolution, irrespective of where they live.”

The SMMT said the ratio of electric vehicles to each public charger had reached 16 to one, and only one new charger was installed for every 52 plug-in cars registered so far this year.

There are no issues with the L in regards to the technology of an advanced liquid based FC. The only perceived downside to the L is it's greater size over the S, which is an issue in some end uses such as marine, or where space is limited. The L is fine in places where space is not an issue.

Unless we use a cartridge based system as with the L Series, and then longevity does not have to be anywhere near what it has to be for PEM, as cartridges can be swapped out every 2 years and recycled with a new layer of Alkamem. Either way, I think from the fact that ABB have gone ahead with a £4m purchase tells us that there is nothing wrong with Alkamem longevity, AFC just need to build a big commercial scale FC that works, and that will be a lot easier without the circulating caustic liquid to factor into the design.

BTW, I've already filtered Aimillionaire for repeatedly replying to garmoan, despite my many requests to him to stop doing so, because all he's doing, whether intentionally (creating negativity by proxy) or not, is helping garmoan fill this board with intentionally negative spin, designed to make this the most negative board on lse.co.uk, clearly for his own trading or stock accumulation purposes.
