Tesla is adding autoDisinfect in its range......it works like autopilot (not reliable). Amazon will have a sanitizer button where you can order it instantly (Alexa has been infected with Coronavirus).
The latest ransomware is coronaVirus that hijacked .......corona beer maker’s computer systems. They need to offer fee beers to 1 billion customers before their system is restored.......more news to come.

There is no rally, stop calling it a rally........makes me mad. When FTSE 100 stays above 8000 then you can use the word rally. The whole U.K market is one big JOKE.......only good for shortsellers who work for pension funds to monetise their unloved assets (shares). Shorts and MMs work together to screw the market as hard as possible while most retail traders / investors get run over. It seems that BT doesn’t own EE as nobody mentions that when they start writing BT’s obituary.

See the rates market is a lie, they force central banks to lend to them at 0% - 0.75% then charge businesses 8% and credit cards are still 20%. It makes no sense that’s why we need help to “fix pension” scheme. HTFP is catching similar to FTTP, I’m off to speak to mr. Cummings at no.10

Money and control, the virus is being hyped up even though kids and younger people are not dying from it. Older people with underlying health problems must be wary and suspicious. Big Pharma and hyped up biotech need to cure diseases with little or no side effects. They are crazy people, they want 100k a month to treat cancer that they can’t even guarantee the result. The industry is a shame and has let down the era of penicillin and other medicines that didn’t cost the earth.

Bt will need to make the insurance company a sweet offer (cash). If central banks say there is no inflation and the interest rate is low to negative so why can’t BT borrow money at close to benchmark rate to fix pension. The government should support a move like that as it is politically acceptable. Better than “help to buy” scheme which is just turning housebuilders into monsters making profit selling overpriced $hit homes to dumb buyers on $hit terms.

That’s harsh, my advice is never ever by a single company share again. Go for index trackers/ funds......at least you still get to own a piece of VOD. Try ETFs / funds from Vanguard and iShares......low cost with good liquidity.......no Woodford type risk.

Very strange that kids and younger people are almost immune to it. The pension funds, insurance companies and the government want young people with no guaranteed pension and with retirement age certainly to be in mid 70s by the time they retire ......few would live to collect pension.

BT needs to refinance now with rates so low and dump the pension onto an insurance company. Who knows may be there is no liquidity out there, I was expecting a lot of U.K companies to be issuing loads euro debt with maximum 1.5% coupon.

10 year treasury yielding less than 1% so VOD should not be paying more than 3% on average if liquidity is not a problem.

F**k this crazy market, people are using their mobiles more, working from home, calling and texting more often because of social distancing. The moves in the market is just dumb.......

True but harsh, even the government wants us to die earlier. I think pensions should be an insurance product that guarantees certain amount of payment at a reasonable age if set contributions level is met. Developed countries have huge pension liabilities unlike developing countries so the young will pay more taxes surely.

When you look at American giants and some big european players.........less competition is needed to cut cost for customers and improve profitability.

A merger is more likely.........an all share offer would be easier! ESG hype hasn’t reached telecoms sector yet even though the companies don’t pollute the world. Only problem in Europe is regulation and too many players in fragmented markets.

Divi is 3.15% (priced in euros) not crazily high like BT but very tradeable and liquid. It’s just like you are buying a share but that share includes all major european telecoms.
No stamp duty, up 5.6% YTD compared with BT which is down 20% (excluding any divi). There is a charge of 0.46% yearly but this is taken from the fund and not from you.

Do you do sector trading? If not try sector ETFs (Europe wide sector ETFs)........telecoms sector has been defensive this year in whole while BT and Vod who are constituents are significantly lower. EXV2 is the ticker......iShares european telecoms.

Yes it is exempt from SDRT and it is provided by blackrock’s iShares and domiciled in Ireland which has special relationship with the U.K even with brexit drama. The pro’s don’t trade single stocks but sectors. The fund managers and their HL gangmasters are killing retail traders in single stock shares. U.K retail Investors need to stop using CFDs, spreadbets and stop trading single stocks for things to normalise.
Nick please give me a feedback once you’ve compared the charts on HL. The future is factor, sector and index investing..............the greedy bastards are killing single stock investments / trading. I will be writing to FCA about my research once I launch my website.

Stamps have outperformed RMG and ftse 100........I’m stocking up tomorrow, holding till it hits 100p. CWU should be paid in stamps!

Try comparing CNA and EXH9 ( European utilities etf) Chart then you will see a big difference even though CNA is included in the sector. Retail investors need to move into index ETFs / factor or sector ETFs as it is to expensive to short all the companies. I believe retail traders are being wiped out when it comes to single share investing/ trading.

Let me know your thoughts after comparing the charts.

Rico is not smart enough to offer higher pay rise but no job security.....most posties would take up the offer. Royal Mail could fill all posties jobs in a week if all got sacked......just too many low paid couriers out there so watch out.
Sorting depots need full automation while management needs culling.
