After all the water that's passed under the bridge I anticipate a modest rise with the announcement that work has begun. However if the refaccing looks to be partially or fully successful we're bound to be cooking with gas ... GLA
As vintage 2008 when the company was cash flow positive I've seen a lot of water pass under the bridge. I see the biggest impediment to share pric is basically since 2014 virtually nothing has happened 'on the ground'
This is not to say that the potential is in anyway diminished but they really do have to get a move on to restore the punters faith in the recovery process.
From what I've gleened from the sparce information we've recieved to date the Drilling Engineer, Tool Pusher etc are going to be subcontractors. Possibly with somethimg as important as this Joe may even decide put in an appearance onsite
Can't speculate on price but GOI approval is the final impediment and if there is (as they have intimated) a JV partner waiting in the wings that will be when they swoop ... GLA
Perfectly understandable that they can't proceed with fraccing etc until GOI approval comes though but with this inordinate delay we as share holders are surely entitled to a detailed explanation of exactly where the process is at.
Just dropped in after a period of inactivity and delighted to see some news.
Cautiously optimistic about restarting production but the refraccing could possibly be the game changer as there still remain unanswered questions around 77h
Based on my first Oilex purchase in february of 2008 and today's market value reflects a loss of 99.8%
Oilex at that stage were cash flow positive company producing small but significant quantities of oil and involvement in several joint ventures across the globe.
Whatever happened!!!

Pretty cool choice of music ... let the party begin!
Pretty cool choice of music ... let the party begin!
Gordon I see it as a really positive step and an excellent opportunity to put more pieces of the puzzle together after more than six years with almost no movement on the ground.
There were a lot of unanswered questions remaining around 77h so refraccing apart from increasing gas flow could well provide some gems of wisdom going forward.
Oilex has in the past been involved in non acrimonious joint ventures with Bharat Petroleum. If my memory serves me in Oman and the North West Shelf.
However general consensus would indicate fracking isn't high on India's current agenda.
Think your right Gordon and l'm stiil here although do despair at times.
*As for the £Party did visualise this back in 2008 when my entry point was equivalent of 85p but not so sure now ... lol
Who knows stranger things have happened in their long and chequered history. However ONGC who have a lot of clout when calling the shots have made it clear that fracking isn't currently on the exploration radar.
'There was movement at the station, for the word had passed around'
Maybe the the Colt is about to bolt, haven't seem volume like this in an age ... GLA
Imho the fundemental responibility for this sits squarely on the shoulders of a virtually impotent management team
For those who remember the 'nickel boom' of the late 60's when forntunes were won and lost this might provide a little light entertainment as the wait continues.
Right here with Oilex we currently have all the material to produce a sequel with as many twist and turns imaginable. It could be titled the 'Gas King' ... enjoy!

At last some traction and positive action!
Although there has been a previous work over of 77H there were to my mind many unanswered questions when operations were suspended in 2014. The fact that they are prepared to take an indepth look may not lead to huge amounts of gas but could add extra value to the evaluation already undertaken by Schlumberger ... GLA
I agree, after what they've intimated would be surprised and disappointed if there isn't someone waiting in the wings
Sometimes reaserch works sometimes not!
After exhaustive research In 2008 I bought into a proactive entrepreneurial cash flow positive company producing small but signifilcant quantities of oil from Cambay and a joint venturer in several other interesting prospects.
Here I am today, disillusioned and rather despondent GLA
