I'll be a lot happier when they finally announce we've successfully entered the Jetstream.

Yet another delay but after all these years I'm conditioned to it.
So 90 days and it's all go 'if' the Jet Pump lives up.to expectations.

A never-ending story!
Difficult to envisage any meaningful progress with possible JV partners in light of prevailing circumstances.

There however is a possibility that due to the sensitivity of negotiations and respect for farmees they may be reluctant to make these figures public until something is finalised.
Maybe the next rns will incorporate both issues.

With Roland intending to travel to India in early February to negotiate with potential farmees he must already have something concrete on flow rates otherwise it would virtually be a pointless journey.

Just a feeling but wouldn't be surprised if Roland's vist to India and news on condensate removal will occur simultaneously.

Changing the name was in all likelihood Joe's as he's proved in the past to be the master of grandiose ideas.

I see this as at least a period of some tangible movement on the ground after sitting through a five year hiatus where virtually not a wheel was turned.

It's all water under the bridge now but this extract from the report below indicates the situation in Cambay when I bought in.
The decision to shut in the wells was apparently made with the intention of shifting the focus to gas hence the fraccing (although this to my knowledge was never clearly enunciated.
Who knows what Roland may have up his sleeve!

Australian-based oil & gas group Oilex has formally marked its transition to cash flow and production by delivering a strong December Quarter performance by starting up oil production from its Cambay Oil Field in October in India with 16,800 barrels of oil produced during the December 2008 quarter from two wells.

Oilex commenced production from Miocene Basal Sand (MBS) in the Cambay Field on October 17, 2008 from the Cambay-64 well, which produced 9,374 barrels to the end of December. A second well, Cambay-74, was brought into production on Dec. 5, and produced 7,453 barrels to the end of the quarter.

Looks like everything's tracking nicely!
Could never understand why they didn't look to the redundant wells sooner to at least generate some income.
When I came on board Oilex was operating as a cash flow positive concern on the basis with these.
Hats off to Roland he's turning out to have more nous than the rest of them put together. GLA

I'm an ex doodlebugger so dont fully understand the intricacies of drilling operations but from what I can gleen this is another positive sign that things are coming together nicely. GLA

Thoughts on JV possibilities.
At this stage I'd be happy to see a cashed up astute investor fully fund the two horizontal wells for a 50% stake in Cambay.

Encouraging to see things evolving.
I'll join the cheer squad as soon as we have a cashed up JV Partner locked in.

Not surprising based on the apparent uncertainties the market is unimpressed.
Personally I've got a case of the heebie-jeebies.

No intention of creating doubt and the initial flow rates are certainly very close to being confirmed.
I was alluding to past experience were flow rates have dropped quite significantly over time.
There is I'm sure every chance that with the new fraccing methodology this won't be the case.
