I would think almost certainly - their valuation on a p/e basis is much lower than that of the companies most likely to be interested in them, a number of which are vastly bigger and could swallow them without a hiccup. So they must be attractive and I would imagine slide rules are out already. Just did not want to be seen to be ramping because a takeover right now is pure speculation. But not unreasonable. However - if you want a flight of fancy it is that someone tries to buy them as soon as the FCA gives its approval, before OPAY hits the 250 and before it has time to squeeze out all those synergies it talked about at the time of the SKRILL rns. That is what I would do. GS

I am an OPAY bull (I have been in since the beginning so I have a decent holding at (net net) virtually no cost and can afford to be). Having said which, I am gobsmacked by the sp at present. The SKRILL deal will surely go through because: 1. both OPAY and SKRILL have behaved immaculately as far as regulatory affairs are concerned. Certainly I have seen nothing to the contrary. and 2. The combined business is still a minnow compared with the likes of PayPal so there can't be competition issues. Assuming it does go through, the synergies in the merger are more than attractive and there is underlying growth in both businesses. Plus FTSE 250 entry is as certain as anything can be in this world and with it there must be a tracker led increase in sp. So as a value investor it beggars belief the sp is as low as it is. However if you believe in technicals, then the charts would suggest the sp will fall a fair bit more. FWIW my opinion is that the sp could fall by 10-15% in the short term (although I doubt it). I am much more positive that it will rise by very much more as the newsflow restarts and I am certainly looking for a share price beginning with a three come FTSE250 entry. GL GS

Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I will take your question at face value. No - there will not. OPAY is cash generative and has already funded the SKRILL deal. Trading is strong. It does not need to raise more money. Its sp is likely to climb on main listing and then on FTSE250 entry so no need to dilute sooner. GS

Famous last words, but I doubt the sp will fall before the trading update. We are within a week of news assuming the same timetable as last year, we know from the last one that trading is strong and on that basis the dividend will increase. Hard to see a price fall against that, but Greece/China are well capable of upsetting the apple cart. I am maxxed out here for the time being anyway, and I am not selling. BWTFDIK GL GS

Sorry - should have added something else. The technical indicators suggest this will fall further I think. If you believe them, sell and buy back later. For my part, this is another share I hold that "undervalued" stamped on its forehead. Until I change my mind about that I never sell a share that I think is undervalued because that value always comes through into the sp the end. GL GS

No advice but this is what I think: 1. XLM is an israeli company and is infected by the problems at PLUS (despite their detailed denial as to why it should have any impact) 2. It is involved in gambling (or dependent on it). The US is in a state of flux ref online gambling and although I think the regulators will win (good) there is plenty of noise from the other side. 3. News flow is not exciting enough for AIM. Acquisitions tend not to have price tags or names and there is a rather secretive quality to the information released. All that holds the sp down. Having said which: 1. This is a cash pump of a company 2. It is engaged in a land grab and seems to be winning 3. The business model is to die for 4. The upside in the US is colossal and not bad in the rest of the world 5. With a stated, generous dividend policy, this is one for a long term hold. The yield is already great and I think it is just about to get better. So I am enjoying topping up GS

I see nothing ramping in either of these two posts. They are just pulling a bunch of RNS together. Useful for newbies, and nice reminder for the rest of us. The accusation of ramping usually comes from someone doing the opposite. GS

There is an interesting one. Generally I do not either. But I work on value (I think) and fundamentals more than technicals. I do not ignore the latter, witness an earlier post in this thread, but if a share has undervalued tattooed all over it then I tend to ignore the general. So I never average down for the sake of it - that way lies ruin, but there is often real opportunity when a share has fallen as OPAY has. I simply cannot believe that it will not recover as skrill, FTSE and 250 come closer. If it goes down a bit between now and then, so be it. I only want a profit (if I could do that on every investment ....) GL GS

Thanks Techni After our conversation a couple of days ago I privately called the bottom and bought more .Mightily encouraged that we seem to be holding/rising against generally falling markets and I am rather hoping that with the run up to Full listing we will see a recovery in sp here. I think the sp actually peaked three times over 500 for relatively short periods The average pre rights was probably more like 400p. On the basis that the Skrill purchase was to be earnings accretive from day one (assuming realised synergies) then the sp is way too low. The same can be said if OPAY is compared to its peer group where it is also undervalued. So I am sure the sp will recover (or OPAY will be bought) but every technical indicator seems to say it will fall further first. Take your pick GS

Techni - Thanks, that is what I thought. To balance it out however: 1. the Skrill t/o approval from the FCA will surely happen 2. Full listing will surely happen (this is no QPP) 3. FTSE250 entry will surely happen 4. There are no disclosed shorts (and it would be hard to justify a short position right now) 5. It is clearly under-valued when compared with its peers 6. I cannot remember the management putting a foot wrong. One would expect a reasonable rerate on the back of all that. So I will wait - thank goodness I have been here since the start and my average by now is negative. But if it falls much further I will surely buy some more. GL GS

Techni Given this morning that looks down. You are a charts man I think. I am not, but every chart indicator I see says OPAY is going to drop further. It looks as if there is a dead cross forming, the bollinger bands look awful, MACD says sell and RSI is not great. And I like this company.... what do you make of it? GS

I first bought in April this year and have just added more on the strength of yesterday's RNS. RST trades on a 12 month trailing p/e of about 24x. It has just bought ITP which made £1.1m in the year to 31st May and it believes there are additional synergies to be had. That ought to increase market cap by about £24m which is just over 10% above today's sp. Am I missing something? GS

on this share. It is just too good a business to be on AIM which does not seem to understand the model, the earnings or anything else. I mean why does a UK based share suffer because Greece is in a mess? I an not a technical investor but it seems to behave in line with its charts. So heart in mouth I sold on 4th June and have seen the sp slide steadily since then. So much for a long term hold. It is a good business and I will be back in but not until some sanity has returned here. GLA GS

Ought to be a good entry price, but this is AIM so only time will tell. Life will be easier on the main market and there is certain to be a rerate on entry to the 250 so you should be fine. And I suspect there is a real chance that one of the big boys will cast an eye over OPAY soon as well. GS

Looks a bot pricey at present but with so much of the equity locked up the sp should not fall far barring mistakes, which this team do not make. One to have and hold. GS
