Absolutely. I've no problem with the numbers or the fact that they have retained working capital: I am, however, disappointed at the way it has been communicated. Still....I'll continue to have all my shares and Santa's sack will be full :-)

The individual has joined the new tech company....he's an exceptional candidate. Interestingly i met with people who know what went on around the table. I have no doubt that your friends opinions were sincere, however S&G allegedly had~ 70 people working on the DD I believe.....and were happy with the outcome based on their own professional opinions Time will tell who got it right I guess :-)

Interesting post, addicknt. As you almost rightly say: I guess I'm one of those who has little interest in what went wrong, except to learn how to try to avoid a similar experience. I'm also not personally attracted to raking through the coals and take responsibility for recovering my now modest losses in what I expect to be an exciting tech company. As I personally know someone who has recently joined in a senior position, I can say quite factually that I'm impressed with the quality of individuals who are being recruited. Had it all turned out the way we were hoping, I guess your acquaintance would have been less robust with his hindsight....but then again: this is what innovation is about.

I fear someone's concern has affected his knowledge of the business too ;-)

And cracking insight into what's going on in the real world.

Agreed Newboy:- personally I have more than enough Quinnies already, but depending on the strategy document, brokers note and post - return sp, I may be obliged to buy more. It will be decided based on IM's plan, however it's inevitable that a substantial number of current investors will re-invest if the post - return sp remains low. How much of the £500M? Time will tell.
