Exclusivity announced 11/07/2018, so they were in for just over 2 months. I wonder if the US company also had to announce start and end of exclusivity? From the original RNS: 'A further $2.5 million is payable to ReNeuron subject to the completion of certain due diligence activities during the exclusivity period.' Considering the timeframe, I'd expect some of these activities to have been completed and therefore further payments due. Presumably today's announcement will affect the confidence of any other parties that were considering getting involved.

In my view the most positive partnership would be with a major pharma not currently involved in stem cells or exosomes. THAT would give the field a boost.

Seeing as Woodford own 35.5% and bought in at the equivalent of £5/share, I doubt they would go for £2/share (unless a trial didn't go to plan).
