Research collaborations unfortunately mean very little at this stage, all very interesting and allows MH to continue talking about value inflextion points for years to come, but no guarantee of anything over the next 12 months.

5 years ago we had a significant capital injection from Woodford. Cash is decreasing and it hasn't yet been translated into income. That isn't market manipulation.

I've checked the financial events calendar out until the end of September, nothing whatsoever planned in for ReNeuron. By this time last year we'd already had final results.

What could they be waiting for, that would cause them to hold back results?

Dr. Dugel commented: "The isolated episodes of surgically related adverse events are consistent with those expected for sub-retinal injection procedures, some of which may be mitigated in the future with technique refinements and injection site selection."

I recall some adverse events in intravitreal injections of jCell, and also in sub-retinal injections of Luxturna.

Noticed that MH was scheduled to present at this week's Shares Investor Evening but his presentation has been moved to 21st July. Again, perhaps waiting to conclude something. Could be good, could be bad, could be nothing! I'd guess results will be before then.

Not confirmed, juat a comment about mid-July in 17/06 RNS: 'Further details of the Company's exosome and iPSC programmes will be provided in the Company's preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2020, which are expected to be announced by mid July 2020.'

Wonder if they're holding out for something inparticular.

I don't think there's been much discussion on here about about jCyte's Phase I/IIa trial, and comparisons with ours, primarily due to lack of publicly available information.

As part of their I/IIa trial, jCyte treated a far greater number of patients, at varying dose levels, compared to ReNeuron. But if I'm reading their results correctly, the most interesting comparison is at 12 months with 1 million cells where jCyte's change in mean BCVA is 1.0, with a range of -3 to 11 (n=8), and ReNeuron's BCVA is 7.6 (n=5).

jCyte saw a big uplift at 2 millon and then 3 million cells, and I believe their current trial is running at 3 and 6 million cells.

It's very tempting to imagine ReNeuron's trajectory when increased to 2 millon cells. I wonder if the difference between the two approaches, i.e. vitreous injection vs. sub-retinal, accounts for, and would continue to account for a more significant improvement?

For me a stage payment from Fosun would be pivotal - I think CTX is the potential blockbuster and anything that signifies progress will have a significant positive effect.

Agreed wrt another RP or CTX deal, two in the bag would be game changing.

I'm trying to ignore exosomes at the moment, 50/50 partnerships will require sales of a product to generate income and I can't see that happening any time soon.

If you read the published patents around CTX and exosomes, the current valuation of £42 mil., with a relatively large cash balance, seems insanely low.

You'd expect cash to diminish, but re-allocation whilst you're relatively well funded is prudent.

If Pisces III has matured to a stage where ReNeuron can reduce cash burn and partners can take over, that's a good position to be in.

I'd rather keep my own eyes and have an injection than have them removed and replaced with artificial eyes.

I imagine cost for ReNeuron's products would be significantly lower and less invasive.

Super interested to know the treatment cost and efficacy comparison between jCyte's intravitreal and ReNeuron's sub-retinal therapies.

IIRC, jCyte don't have an off-the-shelf formulation whereas ReNeuron have a patent protected process which enables cryo-preservation. Olav was also not confident that jCyte's improvements would be maintained long-term.

A $250 mil. deal suggests the ball is in jCyte's court, so it'd be very interesting to know if this is more or less lucrative than deals presumably discussed by others with ReNeuron.
