@SullysWorld - Agree that presenter is an irritating bald git, but I'm not sure the observations are his own work. I think he mostly collates and reviews data from other sources. With respect to diversification, it follows that each alternative source of supply has different strengths and weaknesses, only one consideration of which is cost. There is some necessity for a true base-load provisor regardless of less advantageous financials.
It's an interesting perspective, but as a natural advocate of diversification, personally I believe there will be an argument supporting adoption of the technology, provided decisions are made promptly.

Yes, it certainly seems that starving shareholders at this point is a matter of company policy. Who knows, maybe it's bait?..
I consider the drop this morning as a bonus. Topped-up...
Certainly moving back to the 'top-up zone' now...

On paper, Air Astana appears to have good prospects. Let's hope the float is not facing turbulence by listing on LSE..
"seemingly" - I think this needs to be clarified...

Was contemplating a top-up either here or with PureTech yesterday. No prizes for guessing which way the coin landed... Anyway, it's still good news. As many have already stated, it's a pretty well-run company in a sector which appears to have excellent future prospects, so deal or no deal, the spotlight will be welcome.
I haven't done a deep-dive into the accounts (sums are not my forte), but aside form the benefit to BAE, I think that AA sounds like a well-run company, geographically and economically well-positioned in the aviation sector and as such I'm intending to have a punt, despite already being a bit over-exposed in airlines. Has anyone had a closer look at the books and developed an opinion?
As a separate topic, how do we go about getting a London Southeast forum set up for Air Astana?

Glad I remained a little sceptical, and kept my powder dry..
I think it was obviously tongue-in-cheek and I doubt anyone took it seriously judged by the number of 'likes'. No-one responded with any comments relating to serious enquiries about RR. Whether the attempt at wit was worth the time and space is another matter.
