Why is fuel allowance not means tested
Same for TV license - although as you say that has now (literally just) ended..

Have you read any sensible commentary on the triple lock and how financially ruinous it is / has been / could be a train wreck next year the way the numbers are panning out...

I could go on, but if you think its "absolute rubbish" then that's your opinion.. I think there is a growing number of people who recognise that its based in fact ..

Many pensioners - are on final salary pension schemes in effect.. What will todays 20 year olds expect? Pensions are just a vast scale government ponzi. If they were not pensions then it would be seen as what it is - pyramid selling...

Pensions are a huge issue - state and final salary.... They are totally and utterly unaffordable.. Thats why they dont exist anymore and younger people have vastly inferior pensions as a way of trying to balance this, this wont be enough though, the can is being kicked down the road relentlessly, it cannot go on forever...

But this is all about opinions, clearly we disagree - and that is fine....

Hi Jim. Got a bit lucky here. Took a large position in rolls Royce the day before the vaccine and got in at 68 and out at 125. Put all of that into here at 92. Personally I won’t sell below 200p. I see this hitting 500p next year and am very comfortable holding these.

700k is literally nothing . It will blast last 120 very soon. Would not be surprised if we never see that blocker again.

I do however think wealth needs to start being taxed much harder and pensioners in particular have it way too good. They should be hammered in the future.

Well big move in ftse futures from negative to positive. This will be done with printer money. The buttons will be pushed and boe. At some point this stops but that’s the current fundraising method.

Govt are clearly primed to pump the economy and that means and needs strong banks. Off we go again Monday.

Almost certain the rally will continue. Brexit is looking like a deal is coming. The last thing the boe want at the moment is to distress banks. Politically they will be under a lot of pressure to be steady s she goes. Takeover could come at any moment imo.

Very nice combination. The hedge funds that made money smashing the crap out of this now look like they are going to make a killing taking it back up to a more sensible level. Shorts will start closing bow imo. It’s not a squeeze as such as many will be in large profits but nobody likes losing money and this is clearly not a good short at these prices. Very quick move to 200p coming here for starters imo.

From current levels this will be a stunning investment next 12 months imo.

Remember they are only one of the notifiable ones, there will be many that have sat under the 0.5% threshold as they dont want to be "known"
