I'm not particularly looking for a cheaper entry price - I'm looking for the right fundamentals to say to me that this is worth a punt and I would quite hppily do that at 10p or . At the moment, it's not stacking up. GLA

taylot - but you had a protracted debate this time last year with someone about Flybe dropping into the 20p range. The reality is simple - as a company we are burning cash. Winter is coming and we are going through the worst time of the year for Flybe passenger numbers. You don't sell off assets and then lease them back unless you desperately need the cash. II's are bailing out and the shareprice is dropping. The signals are very negatively tilted, however you look at it. We need to be bought out, and quickly by the look of things. The real danger is Stobart etc etc are simply circling vultures and will wait for failure. I hope that's not the case as genuine PIs will get done over. I'm still watching this like a hawk as there might, and I stress might, be an opportunity to make some money from a takeover bid, but whatever anyone says on here there are too many red flags at the moment. GLA whatever your decisions.

Gary - I posted a couple of times last week about the market never being wrong. Why are we under 9p if everything is rosy and we're about to be the subject of a bidding war? I truly think this could go either way, but I haven't invested my hard earned cash yet as the market is currently pointing to either fail or a bid of about 10p. GLA to genuine holders and particularly those long termers who are in far deeper water than most here.

Why would IIs do that if they thought they could double their money on a minimum 20p takeover bid short term? I don't quite get what is going on at the moment. GLA

I'm still sitting on the sidelines waiting for the market to settle before deciding whether to buy in. But I still don't understand why we are falling back - thoughts people? GLA

moniman - it's the highest price in 12months that the bidder has bought shares at, not the highest price of the share on the open market.

Scilly- why is the Telegraph article misleading?

Woodstock - I mentioned yesterday that the fall of the share price into the close was odd. My fear is that the for sale sign is a fire sale plea or the lights go out. I'm keen to buy in on the hope of a decent takeover price, but the market still hasn't settled yet.

Mulder - I tend to agree - it's all very quiet and mention of Spire in the interims was very muted and matter of fact. GLA

fundamental - yes, strange day today indeed. I've not bought in yet as I want things to settle down a bit as its been frantic to say the least in FLYB today. But the drop is bizarre and concerns me slightly - the market is never wrong. GLA

goldy - you posted about takeovers at least three times in October. It will happen one day so you can say you were right. GLA

norrab - "he knows there is no value in owning stock in the company" - and in amongst your post is the one thing that the market quite clearly already assumes about our CEO. GLA

Analysister - You mention you bought in at slightly below current price and that you have held the shares for a few months. We didn't drop below 140p until towards the end of the first trading week in October. That doesn't quite make sense from either a timescale perspective or your NAV valuation, unless you clearly bought in to short the share??

The sad fact is we've been nicely manoeuvred into a corner as PIs. If we vote against the CLN, you can imagine the response from the BoD and I suspect we'll be left with nothing. If we vote for it, it is actually a carte blanche to dilute the shareholdings to next to nothing - paying cash or shares will be at "the Company's option". If Rufus had an iota of interest in shareholders, he'd be offering to cut his salary or potentially take it in warrants/options at a much higher price than today's paltry 0.2p. How much confidence would that demonstrate to the market abut the longer term aspirations of Edenville as a company?. There has been an interesting "debate" on here the last few days, but the fundamental ongoing issue is Rufus' lack of share buying. I'm like many, locked in here, although at undoubtedly a much lower price than many longer term holders - but for me the red flags are starting to raise their ugly heads. I agree the CLN is potentially a better option than outright share fundraising, but Rufus continues to operate in his own little cocoon and the market clearly sees the growing risk here. I truly hope that it all comes good. GLA
