We are looking strong, big sellers stop selling as the price rises and shorters closing and thats whats caused the drop to below 10p which was unbelievable and led by the above. Remove them from equation and you could be right at 20p....I hope so!!

I just wish my average was 10p instead of 12.36 but im finally there now so lets have a bit of profit to look at at 4.30 to make me smile while I read the newspaper articles about it over the wk end. Will the papers be full of stories about easy jet and ryan air looking to block virgin getting into the market by putting in a bid themselves. Will Stobart make an announcement but they dont have pockets as deep as Virgin but they might make the first cheeky £30 or £40m bid. Will some one else come out of nowhere (like virgin) and table a bid,........right Greendave calm down and get another brew

Yes I agree, if and when talks confirmed on RNS it will reach 15p and should support around that level. The interesting thing is that as soon as we were put for up sale and easy jet and ryan air talked about as potential bidders they came out within 24 hours and said what they said (no need to repeat). Virgin announced at tea time yesterday as potential bidders and no denial which means at 9.19am on Friday im waiting for the RNS before the end of today for confirmation

We obviously have some profitable routes and some not so. Trim the fat with new eyes and experience and definitely have enough slots. Virgin interested to link local to international carriers. It ticks all the boxes. Id be very very suprised if easy jet and ryan air will let Virgin get another grip in the domestic market. Last time they had the disadvantage of poor slots which they wouldnt have this time as we have some good ones.....oooohhhhhh juicy this

is my average if we stay at that into the weekend ill be happy. If it wasnt for the big institutions and shorters selling we would never had dropped from my initial entry price of 15p......I think Virgin will offer 20p which is only £40m for a huge domestic airline with profits in the latest accounts. It beggers believe. Brexit is effecting the market but Virgin has billions and the rich always do well regardless of the political situation

If his previous airline went bust losing a hundred million then the slots alone are worth £20m without the other assets and profitable routes we have including the newly announced Heathrow route today with £1.6m subsidy a year. Low offer Mr Virgin....no thanks we will sell it all to your competitor for more and you can kiss your golden chance goodbye of a cheap entry at £40-50m for a fully functional part profitable domestic airline. IPO at over £2 so a big decrease from listing price. Flybe just needs more effective management to make a profit in full every year....You want us? Show us the money

Up for sale and yes it spiked and fell back and no one declared an interest. Easy jet have declared out at this stage BUT Virgin have declared in. Game on!

Has always been my favourite! I was on virgin trains on Saturday which was a great experience and they know to run an airline as they already have one. The domestic and connecting routes is what they need and what Flybe can offer ....

I sure am. This was my first at 2pm yesterday....Scully, nothing left for me either to top up with. Im sure we will be smiling very soon. Easy Jet reckons we will be broken up and sold in parts. The different parts of the business sold separately could be worth a lot more than an outright sale. I would be up for that. Another airline possibly abroad could take over some or all of the planes, sell the slots, the buildings, the routes......either way it adds up to A LOT MORE THAN 20 MILLION
