If his previous airline went bust losing a hundred million then the slots alone are worth £20m without the other assets and profitable routes we have including the newly announced Heathrow route today with £1.6m subsidy a year. Low offer Mr Virgin....no thanks we will sell it all to your competitor for more and you can kiss your golden chance goodbye of a cheap entry at £40-50m for a fully functional part profitable domestic airline. IPO at over £2. Flybe just needs more effective management to make a profit in full every year....

Hence in my earlier post about leasing them or selling them to others possibly overseas if we cut routes and have access planes. Loads of countries are looking to expand operations and we have a ready made fleet with tried and tested and safe planes. Look at Indonesia and other countries with dodgy planes and an accident every other week. I am sure we can do them a deal, afterall we have what a £100million worth at this moment. Plus we will have natural wastage as leases come to an end...

Scully, nothing left for me either to top up with. Im sure we will be smiling very soon. Easy Jet reckons we will be broken up and sold in parts. The different parts of the business sold separately could be worth a lot more than an outright sale. I would be up for that. Another airline possibly abroad could take over some or all of the planes, sell the slots, the buildings, the routes......either way it adds up to A LOT MORE THAN 20 MILLION

yep, get rid of the routes that dont work and are not profitable and look for new routes or expand existing routes that are. Make an assessment of all buildings and assets to see where value can be realised via sale and rent back or outright sale. This is moving fast with a few announcements in the past week and I expect the pace to pick up once the advisors get a further grip on it....this could be quite a turn around story in the next few months with or without a sale.
