Minimum 30p with a top end of 40p. Either way it’s a 50-100% uplift from current price within next few weeks just in time for Xmas. IAG paid £172.5m for BMI back in 2011/12, at that time BMI had losses of £130m for just 9 months of the year. £130m!!!!! They did have 56 slots at LHR although BA had to give up 14 of them.

No big sales either way at the moment as everyone waiting for further news from Virgin about the proposed bid and also whether BA are going to let Virgin have it with there first bid or whether they are going to make a counter bid.

I have known a number of people who fly from Edinburgh to London on flybe as its quicker and cheaper than the trains. a 3% increase on the trains is a joke considering the service this year. Was it Northern rail that had not enough drivers all summer and a cocked up time table. The local government has already come out in areas such as Cardiff and said that flybe is essential to the area. We are the largest European regional airline and the price of trains going up we can only get stronger. into the blue we go soon enough....

I’m all in for £8k, been here since 12.6 then out and then back in. One day it will be with those amounts. I just need to be better at picking multi baggers like this one. It was my first one for ages but still believe it is going into the 30s at least.....and even the 40s if BA and Virgin fight it out. come on you wouldnt be here if you didnt think it would sell......if BA buys us it will have a bigger market share for decades. Only Virgin can try to take BA on and to do that they need to buy us. With the rivalary between BA and Virgin cant you tell me that one of them wont be interested in the above

1 million buys from KE and Standard plus a £400k buy today from someone......flybe is about to re-enter the big league. You dont invest that money without know how and the bidding war thats about to happen

According to the Economist A Flybe-Virgin tie-up might be the first step towards giving BA a run for its money.

If BA bought us out then Virgin would never get near it. In otherwords this is Bransons one and only chance to take BA on or they will never be anywhere near as big or as popular on UK and European regional routes.

I feel the bidding war coming on......

Well, BA might be allowed to buy it if they pay the highest price and agree to sell parts of flybe to others to satisfy the competition commission
