I assume you are a shorter and have done well this week? The story has not changed just Virgin still interested in buying us out - YES Virgin. The planes are still flying and the money is still coming in and when you add the £8million we generated last month we have plenty of cash to see re structure through or for the buying process to complete. This will just go pop on the first bid which will be for more than 20p that’s for sure so any new ish investor will do well. Don’t forget enterprise value of around £100million for Flybe .....at least double from current levels.

The share was under attack like it is today.....it soon bounced back to 24p don’t forget that and I’m sure it will go back to 20p any day now once further news is released. Does Virgin want us or not?

Share Price will bounce back soon enough just need the bid to be confirmed or a new bidder to formally enter the race....then it’s straght back to 20p+

Newspapers say Flybe has value in the region of £100m .....so what’s the opening offer?

Another airline said by some in the industry to be in the running for a complete buyout of Flybe is the Humberside (HUY) based Eastern Airways, that flies a mixed fleet including 2 ATR72-600s, 8 BAe Jetstream 41s, some Embraer jets and Saab 2000 turboprops on many regional UK routes. Its operation and route network would greatly compliment that of Flybe and together they would truly have the biggest domestic UK route network. Eastern Airways remains tight-lipped over possible talks, not responding to our requests for comment. However, it is understood that parent company, the Bristow Group has made funds available for a potential purchase.

Value us at £107m and £100m respectively.....a £60m buy out is 40% less than enterprise value and that’s a lot!! Any day now expecting bid news.....

Could be but they need to declare an official interest or maybe they are all doing due dilegence at the same time and announce bids within days of each other .....mmmm that would be good before Xmas

Around they don’t go trading aka panicking on the way down ....they hold for the gap up on a bid or bids. Virgin a declared potential bidder still. Once in a decade chance for them to re enter the domestic market with Europe’s biggest regional airline available at a cut price of what 23-40p according to all reports and papers

23p is the lowest tipped in all the papers as the sale price with £107 million as the highest (over 35p). Either way its an uplift from current levels. More positive restructure news will see this above 20p no problem! Is it Virgin Red, Virgin European, Stobart or BA - who knows.....this stage of due diligence everyone keeping tight lipped as a bidding war puts the price up by tens of millions which they want to avoid but it may be unavoidable
