Depends on how much of their own oil Iran can still move out of the strait of Hormuz if they can't move any and their storages fill up then at some point they may have to shut down some of their wells which will bring its own problems for them. If wells are shut in then water coning can occur and these wells would never reopen.

Difficult to have a clue about the terms when the party in power didn't have one. I have said what I would have done previously would have joined EFTA and taken it from there to smooth out the process but neither the main party cons or labour would go down that route as Cons were too busy fighting amongst themselves and Labour were do busy in denial wanting a second referendum. We were poorly served by both political parties mainly because the majority of them didn't understand how the EU worked. As for Farage he wasn't in power so had no say in it.

As for labour and U-turns yes other governments do them also but Labour are the current government and their U-turns will come under more scrutiny also they have created their own issues with the Chagos Islands, digital ids etc not even in their manifesto had they left them alone that would have been two u-turns less.
