I don't disagree the USA are under political pressure STP plus the global economic pressure. Iran have made an offer to open the Strait if USA will remove the blockade no agreement on nuclear though.

The problem the regime has they can't be seen to give in on nuclear as they will have lost equally they can't afford the blockade to continue otherwise their economy and oil infrastructure will be severely damaged which would make them vulnerable.

The problem for the USA is they can't give in on a nuclear deal as they will have lost somewhere both sides will have to compromise on this. I don't think either side are ahead the longer it goes on the more the global economy and politically Trump suffers but equally the Iranian economy and oil infrastructure suffers both the global economy and the Iranian economy will take longer to recover but I think the global economy will recover quicker than Iran's as they rely heavily on their oil it is 80% of their GDP.

STP they don't need to go for the military option that work has been mostly done they just need to keep the blockade on. See what happens over the next couple of weeks:)

Iran has limited storage space for oil which is expected to run out in the next few days. This just doesn't mean production will have to be curtailed with the potential to cause permanent loss of production capacity there are also serious technical problems in attempting to store oil in a system designed for the continuous flow of product from the wells to the export terminals.

Oil isn't uniform it contains waxes and asphaltenes that start separating and sticking when flow slows down. This leads to clogging inside tubing and pipelines, reduced efficiency and possible damage to the reservoirs which can make future extraction harder and more expensive.

As pressure builds equipment becomes more stressed, safety systems compromised and possible ruptures, infrastructure damage. The system degrades internally in ways that are costly and possibly irreversible.

When USA refers to "exploding from within" it is alluding to trapping oil inside a system that depends on constant flow. Physical strain spreads through the entire system quickly. Any tankers trying to escape the blockade by hugging close to the Iranian coast are picked up further in the ocean returned or seized. On top of this the US froze $344 million of digital assets which Iran thought was immune.

For me nobody at the moment. No one dare make any radical decisions for fear of upsetting some group or other. Labour couldn't even get its benefits policy in without the far left of the party having a tantrum. At the moment we are governed by those that shout the loudest and want to shut off any debate they don't agree with.

Labour party is a shambles mired in sleaze and jobs for the boys. Starmer has been a disaster and he is the best they have. No navy, little armed forces mired in debt and increasing. High taxation. high energy prices and will get worse.

Lot of straw clutching there STP. I walk to mine about 800 yards away. If I drove it would cost me about 15p in petrol hardly going to break the bank and most if driving usually call and vote when they are on a journey i.e. from or to work, shopping etc.
