The nuclear offer was 15 years moratorium on nuclear enrichment and then only enriching to 3.6% with it being monitored onsite. The main sticking point was not relinquishing their enriched uranium and associated plant. They aren't miles apart on other issues. Some issues over the Strait and proxies but much closer than before.

Iran have made four offers to the americans over the past few days and the americans have turned them down. The first one was doubling down on what they said in the past however the last offer was much more conciliatory and whilst the offer on nuclear wasn't to the US liking they are getting closer see what happens next STP.

The guy was a seriously bad anti-semite up to 2018. He has since renounced this and apologised for it. He now works in the community trying to help others not follow the same path he did and has said he will continue to do so. Does he deserve a second chance to put things right? If he persuades one person not to follow the same path as him then he will have achieved something in his life.
