Four years of hard graft for one moment in time and a place in history love it Seisnav. Also like a bit of cricket as well. Went to Headingly for test match and it got abandoned chucked it down all day. Then again I love pretty much any sporting contest.

Edzi you make some good points and I for one like to read them just as I like to read what Mikie, Seisnav and others after to say (yes even you gotreal) but everyone makes their own investment choices. The JLP team need to learn how to manage expectations and they should go to bed each night repeating the words under promise, overdeliver 100 times (better then counting sheep).

Hope Kalan and his wife are alright not been on for ages.

It passes time Seisnav whilst we wait for copper to get going no hard feelings to anyone on here from me just different opinions.

Copper FY2020 2026 tonnes produced. This FY2024 around 3500 tonnes hardly shooting lights out along with constant dilution to get there but then you have been talking this share up all the way down from 21p to 6p. You should be in JLPs investor relations department no-one else is.

Consider how slowly copper has ramped up. How many years now Gotreal?

Time for a reality check.

I haven't sold still stuck with 1 mill 20k underwater probably going to be underwater for a while yet. Should have sold half at 8.8p and protected some of my capital but still think chrome will get me above water again. Not expecting copper to have the capability of hitting 25k per year until FY27 now.

JLP still need a bit of capital for improving copper output as the money coming in from copper isn't going to cover taking stakes in artisan miners and upgrades to improve grades before processing so won't be surprised if further shares are issued as we go along.

Of course no capital for IRH whenever they decide to actually bring a module to production. They claim 6 months from ordering of course that is Leon's timeline so I will take that with a pinch of salt as he is always too ambitious and vague with timelines where copper is concerned.

I suppose I will get shot down by all the optimistically optimistic. Roan should have been ramped up at the end of April 4 months later come the end of August maybe it will be or maybe it won't Leon's track record on this is poor. Especially as it just needed painting and was ready to go.

Don't know how anyone can blame someone for selling some they want to make money just as we all do. Good luck to them. Maybe they are just sick of jam tomorrow where copper is concerned and the continual obfuscation..

The only gamble I have in shares is JLP and one other and the only one I am "losing my shirt" on at the moment is JLP Mikie. Back to the Olympics.

His copper of 14.5k tonnes for FY25 is way off probably around 8k to 10k so his gross margin will be lower. Interesting take on it though.

You don't think the continual delays of Roan ramp up and nothing on IRH (which they were desperate to dilute for)and any impact on copper production for this financial year are fair points to raise? Dilution for further artisanal miners a possibilty ?

Personally I was expecting ramp up in July but now another month on before we see that. In future anything they say about copper I will add another 6 months to their deadlines that way I won't be continually disappointed.

How much impact will this have on copper output for this FY as we will already be 2 months in before Roan is ramped up assuming it does. If they buy more stakes in artisan miners will this mean more dilution as the fast ramp up of copper isn't happening yet.

What is happening with IRH? Hardly fast ramp there that they diluted us again to achieve this.

Disappointing but then we should be used to it by now. Oh well back under my rock for another month sp going nowhere for a while yet.

That would be a double whammy Edzi that is for sure. I would have liked that scenario but we have what we have. Don't we have a video of Roan due by the end of the month?

I get where you are coming from but for what it is worth I think the director buys are a good sign we can only wait and see how that turns out in the next 6-12 months as hopefully copper production starts to accelerate.

Spot on Nelson no need for abuse if you don't agree that's fine and if you think someone has made a mistake then politely show them where they have gone wrong so they are better informed.

Edzi clearly stated he would have preferred an RNS showing how Roan was doing that would have told him more and he would have been much happier with that rather than RNS with director buys.

They could have bought after that. It's a different viewpoint. Fair enough no problem for me.

There are a few unscrupulous individuals running aim companies and we have all probably been in the odd one or two over time so Edzi is right to point this out and I don't believe he thinks that of JLP management but just wants to see them deliver this time.

Seisnav one of the things I was disappointed with at the time of the shares being given out to the owners of M and G was the small percentage they had to keep before they could sell so they were always going to offload some. I believe you are right they have probably been offloading a chunk for some time now and the directors buys will facilitate some of these.

I have been in shares before where directors have bought ahead of bad news so it does happen. Leon has had plenty of opportunities to buy ahead of bad news here in the past and he hasn't so maybe this time he is getting in before the start of copper increasing. Chrome is already doing well and will get better next FY. Not long to wait to find out anyway.

Agree Seisnav hopefully there will be a bit more meat on the bones.

I wasn't expecting final year results until mid August anyway this year to give them a bit more time with Roan for a better update on it. The director buys gives me confidence that they are happy with how things are going with Roan.

Here's hoping for a good update whenever it lands.

Love your figures seisnav. I have mine at $44 million so not much between us. Hope chrome margin will be better than we both expected for the second half however it bolds well for next years chrome margin.

Keep up the posting Edzi ignore the odd derogatory comment I have had my share it is important you voice your opinions and to point out where you think there are issues just as it is good to point out when the company does something well as Mikie does.

There is a lot going for JLP just need to stop shooting themselves in the foot sometimes.

Always like to read your posts Edzi and Mikie. We are all different and have different perceptions of the company and that is a good thing but we all want the company to do well. Some see things others haven't and vice versa so we all learn.

Don't like to see the accusations of "liar" bandied about. Good on you Dorfan for supporting Edzi with your comments. It is a good board and diverse opinions and posts make it so.

Regarding comms it is things like the module has been tested just need to paint it and send it to Zambia and get it operational next thing a vital piece of electrical equipment is missing doesn't help and because of this it makes whether the modules in future will have similar problems. That will only come out as we move further down the road with copper. Hopefully they have learnt and can sort it.

Not long to wait now for a Roan operations update.

Edzi you are right about comms some companies do it really well a lot don't on aim. JLP not the worst but there is a lot of room for improvement.
