The main red flags that have been raised that's resulted in this crazy fall to 0.3 rests on the individuals who conducted the Q & A after the adjourned board meeting.

That's the reason for the drop, the interim results held enough promise at mid 0.4's for this to be a speculative buy.

CW's slip of the tongue (insider info being leaked) that Eddie was about to be replaced by a new CEO prior to either happening or being agreed is the reason why 33% has been wiped off the share price since last week.

I ask myself if that leak of information and the result of such is a clear breach of his fiduciary duty to his shareholders.

This will bounce hard in the coming weeks but the laundry did not need to be washed in the public eye.

I 100% agree the board of a company like Mayan needs to be aligned with no passengers. When times had been really tough who took their remuneration in shares? That’s alignment. We need to get rid of the dead wood give support to the direction it’s required and get this share price over 1p which it should be and more now.

Got to be honest the rumours that came from the agm of CW staying in situ and the possible removal of Eddie does concern me greatly. Mayans core interests and future is the assets they have in Texas and Oklahoma. We need guys on the ground their who can closely control and develop such. We’ve had some bad luck of late but with the new Gonzales wells developed and Zink ranch progressed we are in a strong position. Those assets came to us via Eddie. He’s the one with the connections and ability to take this forward and the thought of Charlie doing it from the uk doesn’t inspire me one bit. I acknowledge performance of late has been poor but this will turn quickly and the best person to oversee such is Eddie. AIMHO.

There is not a better package onshore US than this to JV into at the moment.

They have engineered a perfect asset at the right time, good luck or good judgement, who cares!

I am 100% sure there will be.....

Right that's me done and my theory for the big move this week.

I expect this to march onto maybe 7-11p on a JV and 15-20p during the drilling process.

Anything 50p+ is possible on success.

Downside could be on a self funded program but I can still see significant upside from here during the process and if it is a duster you are looking at 1-2p.

Good risk/reward at this level given the big COS and WTI at $73.

I have also emailed Utah State and asked them what the current status is, its not confidential so I should get a reply.

With WTI pushing on to multi year highs they must have a very good chance of being in the driving seat with anyone who is looking for a high COS quality development project that holds massive upside with not a lot of risk or significant capital outlay.

Figures yesterday from Rose were by the by, it is the progress in the Paradox Basin in Utah that is coming along very nicely. the 3D seismic shows ‘multiple prospects and leads' and a well is likely probably this year. The company has built up an incredible acreage position in one of the most interesting post codes onshore the US and makes for significant potential upside for Rose. Worth checking out what CEO Matthew Idiens said yesterday, “Following a period of intense activity, we are at a really exciting time in the Company's development as we look to evolve from an oil explorer to an oil producer in the next quarter.”
