Thanks, Cupacoffee. I am unfamiliar with Alba Minerals so I can't comment, and am probably sounding more impatient than I actually am (or have now been for years). I don't expect to be alerted every time someone brings Mike his morning coffee but rather think there is probably a happy medium of better engagement of news flow with shareholders even if there aren't big milestones to report. There are a lot of very engaged people, who are interested in this company both here and on the forum (my thanks to you all), so a bit more reciprocity from the company would likely be appreciated by many. There are plenty of things they could update us on without spending much time/ effort , which many of us are probably sad enough to find interesting!

I think it comes down to expectation management. Don't spout off with promises of regular updates, overly ambitious project deadlines and "9.5/10" confidence levels, if you know there is a reasonable chance this won't materialise. And people are likely to feel more aggrieved when it doesn't if they've just put their hand in their pocket for a fund raise.

I fully agree, 46G. The reality has been a far cry from the promise of regular updates we were sold, which, regardless if there is plenty of good work going on in the background which we don't know about, should've resulted in some (any) communication once the previously outlined "deadlines" became recent history. It has been hugely frustrating and only a whopper of of an update will justify the prolonged silence for me.

Agree - looking at the bigger picture, I used this morning as an opportunity to top up.

Just received a response from IR in respect of the MSC trial. Clearly they can't provide any specific market sensitive information though they did say the following, which confirms our expectation that, if all wasn't well, it would need to be announced to the market:

"In relation to the initial activities for the MSC trial, these are progressing well and we will provide an update via RNS in due course."

Thanks Indigo - so if it was a large order (as late reported trades often seem to be), of say 5m shares, then is it possible that it has been worked on over a number of smaller trades, say, 10 blocks of 500k, to fill the quota which would nudge the price up gradually, though the order is reported in its entirety after close to avoid the market getting wind of a larger buyer?

... and while we are on humble questions, can anyone confirm if all late reported trades definitely impact the price on the day or might they impact the opening price the next day? Asking for a friend...

I think the question was put fairly humbly and not all might be aware of what a rollover is, so I wouldn't get too worried :)

I also sought clarification on the same issue and have yet to receive a reply!

Spot on - I will be watching carefully with a view to taking my last decent chunk before strapping in for the ride.

I think they got the shares this morning:

Application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares, which rank pari passu with the Company's existing ordinary shares, to be admitted to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission of the New Ordinary Shares is expected at 8.00 a.m. on 7 May 2021.

Will be glad to see the back of this lot and will look to top up and take advantage of the drop.

I pulled them up on their glaring omission of any mention of MSC. Their response was as follows!

Many thanks for your email and feedback which I have passed onto the editorial team.
They have informed me that the free-site articles are bound to a 500-word limit, so the authors have to choose to focus on a select few criteria.
However, as we strive for unique content with each article, it's likely that another writer might cover the points you have mentioned here in a future submission on Quadrise Fuels.
