Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Haven't posted for a while, as it's all become a bit childish with the "he said, she said, he's a trader, she's a liar" rubbish, but I am greatly relieved funding is in the bag and we can get to work on getting these projects over line. The open offer is a tough one though I am inclined to support it, given the share price is in the doldrums and it seems unlikely over the course of the next twelve months with all the projects still in play that it won't rise to significantly higher than its current position. I don't trade in and out of the shares but if I were to put money in, it would seem (to me) very likely I could get my money back (and some) if I were to support the offer with the benefit of providing the company with more liquidity thereby protecting my wider, much more significant, investment. Just my two pence worth.
There was a request on the post not to share it further for the time being.
Sorry, to be clear, it also stated it would be posted in a publicly accessible place in the near future, presumably so that place can benefit from any traffic generated, which is fair enough if they put the work into producing it.
One thing I am taking some comfort in is usually when the shareholder anxiety levels hit fever pitch and we think all is lost, it tends to be just before some news appears that calms the nerves... for a while.
Hopefully we can all read the QRF visit report soon, to give us something to chew over in the meantime!
I agree, though recall the original timeline was given as "the next few months". I may be being sceptical but the ambiguity could easily be another instance of being purposefully vague to dangle the carrot, which we have seen many times before. Hopefully the RNS lands soon but I will believe it when I see it!
11 days ago, JM said "we are looking forward to hosting some important visits to our research facility, QRF, during the next few weeks to explain what we are doing with bioMSAR". We now know there were multiple visitors made up of QED shareholders and, as far as I am aware, don't know whether there are further visits planned. The "next few weeks" could take us beyond the end of this week and I am not sure the Moroccan client would need "what we are doing with bioMSAR" to be explained to them as they have already seen it in action, so personally am not so sure it is as nailed on as you seem to be.
