Might be being overly pessimistic due to their track record, but I suspect it may yet to have re-started (though would be delighted to be surprised on the upside). I sent an email to IR a while back asking if the team were onsite and the trial had recommenced and got a response saying they couldn't disclose project specific information to individual shareholders yesterday. I knew they would likely say this, though previously when I have sent emails and news was close, they've ignored my email and then emailed shortly after the RNS to say "please refer to the recent RNS". I suspect if news was about to drop they wouldn't have bothered replying to my email as they did yesterday, though who knows really... clutching very much at straws!
We wait and we wait and we wait some more...
Speaking of land opportunities, what has happened to Honduras / Panama, one of which I thought we were supposed to be signing a trial agreement with? We were told there wasn't enough rain. Google weather says there is heavy rain in both all week! So what's happening, Jason?
...just invited me to congratulate JM on 17 years at Quadrise. 17 years without a sale didn't seem like an appropriate milestone to congratulate, so I will refrain until we get some positive and hopefully transformational news!
What a splendid idea. I can practically hear the conversation between Jason and David Scott:
JM: Ah Scotty, just the man I was hoping to see. I’ve been reading that pesky forum for the last 4 hours and the IR inbox has been pinging all morning with tedious drivel about timelines and quarters. I think we might need to do something about the cash runway to shut them up for a bit.
DS: Well actually Jason, that’s what I’ve come to talk to you about. I’ve had a cracking idea and I think you’re going to love it.
JM: Ok, how much have we got left then?
DS: £614.25
JM: This better be good and not something totally daft like salary deferral or investing it all in QED shares. You're not going to stop me using the Quadrise jet at weekends are you?
DS: No, no. It’s not that.
JM: Good. I hope you’re not going to suggest we cancel Friday team lunches at Le Gavroche? I love Le Gavroche.
DS: Absolutely not – the cheese souffle is divine.
JM: Ok, well surely you’re not going to suggest I stop spending money on developing my new baby, Carbon Negative MSAR 4000?
DS: No Jason, listen. We’re going to stick it all on black, err, I mean, Bitcoin.
JM: Bitcoin, you say? By Jove, Scotty, I think you might be onto something…!
You don't have to have Noel's powers of prediction to work out that if you keep making erroneous statements about timings that never turn out to be remotely true, investors will get hacked off and the share price will suffer. Only weeks ago we were told Valkor permits to be wrapped up in "early September"...
So where the hell are they Jason?
If I have read correctly, £2.2m required to profitability and £1.9m-ish was raised. Is now the time for shareholders to push for a salary cut to make up the shortfall? We've been patient enough. Time for the board to meet us in the middle and get this over the line?
"Valkor hearing that if successful releases the funding"
Is this a fact?
