Finding an innovative way to use fuel oil (HFO) is critical to the future of oil-producing countries and the global sustainable agenda.
Redliner proposes the disruptive technology MSAR,®️ a British-licensed technology, can pave the way to a greener future by providing safer, cleaner and more affordable energy.
MSAR ®️ technology enables refineries to generate greater value from the bottom of the barrel by using modular, non-polluting, proprietary blending systems that can be installed in less than 12 months.
This allows viscous residues from refineries to be mixed with small amounts of specialty chemicals and water to create an emulsified HFO – releasing valuable distillates, which were otherwise degraded by their use as diluents to produce conventional HFO from waste, significantly improving refinery performance.
How does MSAR®️ work?
MSAR ®️ multiphase superfine atomized waste replaces diesel that makes up to 30% of the HFO content with 29% water and 1% proprietary chemicals. This emulsion acts as a synthetic heavy fuel oil for ships and power plants that currently burn fuel oil, but it is cleaner and cheaper than standard HFO. Water, which is cheaper, replaces valuable diesel, which reduces the price of HFO production, while that diesel can be brought to market at much higher prices.
The world needs better energy solutions to ensure sustainable and responsible growth.
MSAR ®️ is a heavy oil that burns like a gas, which substantially reduces emissions of NOx, particulate matter (including black carbon/soot) and greenhouse gases that severely affect the air quality of the largest cities in Mexico.
Our goal is simple, to provide safer, cleaner and more affordable energy, as well as to continue advancing technology to reach the net zero goal.
Committed to creating a sustainable future for Mexico 🇲🇽
