I would think this will be a major encouragement to Med supply getting on board, as well as chivvying along the Singapore refinery and central America. If this is going somewhere, which is looks very much like it is, then they will all want a slice of the pie. Wouldn't be surprised if this proves to be the catalyst for further news dropping. B100 testing news and Morocco trial news to follow.

I don't think you stick your neck out like that, having already been pulled up in the meeting for previous comments made, unless you are pretty damp sure it's a goer.

Thanks, SR. It wasn't that bit I was thinking of. I think the words used were along the lines of "it will be done by the year end, if not before", and I think it was Andy who said it. There was palpable excitement in the room at the time and I was just hoping to revisit exactly what was said.

Can anyone remember at what point in the meeting they (and there was a particular comment by Andy where he seemed to stick his neck out and I thought "that will be repeated at next year's AGM if it doesn't come off") were particularly bullish about the deal being signed by Christmas. I think it was after the main slides on MSC and 46Gs question at the beginning of the Q&A but have flicked through and can't find it. Feeling pretty grotty today and hoping relistening to that bit again will cheer me up!

Looks like we have our AGM "buzz-phrase" to keep us interested.

Personally, I am not going to be pleased with more "opportunities" and am expecting some cold, hard, tangible progress leading to revenue.

So if it is a one-month trial starting in early Q4, might today be the last day if scheduled for the month of October?

Anyone submitted any questions for the AGM they would be happy to share here? I am compiling my own list and it would be good to ensure we have all bases covered so we can receive some clarity on the many points that need to be addressed!

I expect the RNS released on 30 September would have been drafted some time in advance of its release given it was quite in depth. "Early Q3" for the trial would suggest October (to me) and presumably such a trial would need to be scheduled in advance to tie in with the facility's requirements. 30 day trial. Here's hoping the trial may be completed in a week or so!

I am not sure I follow your point. We could get confirmation it has been completed today, in a week, in a month or not at all. We may get news of another project update and JM updates us on Morocco in a subsequent interview. We may get an update in the AGM. Who knows when and it doesn't really matter. Many of us have been waiting many years for such a breakthrough and on that timeline, the timing is largely irrelevant.

Regardless of any of the above, it would not be beyond the realms of possibility for the price to rise in anticipation of news.

That's correct - hence it would not be unusual for the price to rise "in anticipation" of it being confirmed.

Interesting to note the CEO of a business called Bivios has tagged two colleagues into QED's final results post on LinkedIn.

It could be nothing (or just general interest) but wonder if they may somehow be involved in our plans for scaling.

I am not that surprised to see a rise in the share price - we have been told the Morocco trial is, dare I say it, "imminent", which I would hope (given previous extensive testing of the fuel) should be a formality. This could be the final piece of the puzzle to unlock discussions for commercial supply and us selling some fuel. A huge moment. I would expect the price to rise naturally in anticipation of this, and that's aside from potential updates in respect of the various other projects, news of which we all know is long overdue and could land any time.

Are you able to elaborate at all, HF? Think we could all use a bit of a boost on that project!

A signature from MSC/Cargill and the mood changes dramatically. I am trusting them on the basis that the same doom engulfed the Morocco project when it was dragging on without progress but JM's word was good in the end. And we still have that progressing between now and the end of the year. If I wasn't up to my eyeballs, I would be buying.

Let's hope that means an ENORMOUS amount of progress has been made by QED!
