4EL, in what way can that be misinterpreted? For $700K's worth of work they are gaining a quarter of the mine's output. What we paid for it is irrelevant... it is what it is worth as "potentially one of the most significant, major copper deposits in the Central province of Zambia." Why could we not simply have employed an independent firm, like Apex Geoscience, to do the exploratory/resource definition work and kept ownership of 95%? Its not as though GLR are actually going to do the mining for that stake. They are to receive it in lieu of $700K of work when we have plenty of cash. Why?

From the 2024 Zambia strategy presentation: "Discarded mined material from historical operations Targeting grades IN EXCESS of 0.8% to 1.5% Cu"

Assuming that were realised equally over 20 years at a discount rate of 8% for a mature operation, its NPV is approx. £2.2 billion. At 12% which could be a rate for an early stage producer it would be $1.7 billion ...

Provided it averages 1.5%, then yes, but they will only recover probably 65% .... Probably safer to work on 1% so more like 2,400,000 tonnes @ 65% giving 1,500,000 tonnes contained copper saleable as concentrate at a probable margin of $3,000/t .... $4.5 billion worth ..... Good isn't it? 😉

Focussing on the past will achieve nothing. Either accept where we are and what the plan is now or sell. Roan was built with the intention of it being able to process a variety of feed streams which it can. The company has only been in Zambia for 6 years during which time it has had to acquire the operational and government relationships and knowledge of how to operate in this new territory, including overcoming the challenges of infrastructure and energy supplies. As a result of, sometimes bitter, experience, they have changed strategy over time to have arrived now at the 3 Pillar Strategy, where no one part of the Zambian operation is reliant on any other part to function. We have, along the way, acquired vast feedstock assets cheaply ( eg $18 million for waste rock worth $120 million) and are now just finalising the processing footprints to produce copper (and cobalt?) in quantity. Mistakes have been made and acknowledged which has dragged out progress much to the frustration of investors and the board. But that's what happens when you set up business in an entirely new country to process new metals. It was a bold and high risk move but it seems it will pay off. That is all you really need to know.

NO! It was NEVER the intention to process the LWP through Roan, which predated the LWP by several years.

Metaltrade.... the contract and RNS I referred you to "....will form the base load material to be processed through the upgraded front-end of Roan and account for approximately 60% of the stated capacity at Roan." And from the RNS dated 28/05/25 : "The trials over the past 8 weeks have affirmed Roan's unique capabilities to process transitional copper reefs which are available in vast quantities both at surface and in near surface mining operations. We are excited to have commenced production under the new supply agreements and will provide more clear guidance as soon as we have sufficient operational data under the supply agreement in the coming weeks." There is no issue with feedstock for Roan despite what you choose to believe from people who readily lie.

They have a contract for feedstock for Roan RNS 21/08/23: "Jubilee has secured an additional 6-year Copper ROM supply at Roan on the back of the targeted expansion of the operations. The ROM supply agreement targets the supply of a minimum of 2% total Cu grades of previously mined material." Yet you happily engage with posters who have been shown time and again to be lying though their teeth... Its no wonder you fides are questioned, when you seem to want to amplify rubbish. Actually DO some research instead of asking a series of ignorant questions ......

I think the Oak Bloke is not a details man. He postulates that Project G is the Grovenor mine and quotes figures, for example $15 million capex, 2% copper, but they are for the Nimura Hill mine, which is in DRC and they no longer operate... They moved what equipment they could, including a DMS, to Zambia to a site they operate(d?) in Mumbwa, the Blue Jacket Mine at 14° 37' 52" S, 26° 54' 51" E, but this is 160Km from Kabwe, so doesn't fit the 50Km distance profile for Project G....
