Yes Adastra, that does deserve a smile. Looks to be same buyer but can't be sure. Certainly offset the 200k sell yesterday. A small buy on ISDX pushed us up to 6.5p. If HH have 10-15M share left then that is at least 1/30 dealt with. My gut is the share will recover sharply when the big seller is done here. Were these trades today planned or due to CAG report?? Let's hope this is the sign of an II dipping in here. My gut is an II has been buying in here as someone as consistantly been buying in resonse to the seller. Wait and see what RNS comes. Were not out of the woods yet.

Interesting report. It has the broker as Alanby Capital. I have been unable to download it but I grabbed the image and resized it from their site. They are predicting net debt is set to fall. Ebitda for year of 2.57M. I assume this excludes one offs. The market did not react to this report at all. No doubt this is what CAP will be selling to investors. Although you have to remember Porta part own this firm. Least it confirms the TU figures. The key thing here is once Porta settle up a base company to grow from it could grow fast with profits coming too from this. Exciting times. Once HH finish selling I think there could be a big jump here closer to 8-9p. Once you strip out debt/ one off costs here they are operating a positive cashflow. Interesting! Revenue for year at 35M??? Were we predicting 27m??

Where did you find that Adastra??? Shaved 0.7p from Sanlam last valuation. Are they taking over from Sanlam?? Seem to be doing the job for them.

I think you got a bit carried away here. We only only 51% or so of Redleaf. The transaction in Feb was just a purchase related bonus if they met certain conditions, There is no mention below of us buying the other 49%. 'Porta Communications (AIM:PTCM) announced on 23 April 2014 that it had acquired 51% of the issued share capital of Redleaf Communications for a consideration payable in both cash and the issue of 6,998,050 Ordinary Shares in Porta, of which 1,760,010 were deferred to be issued following the satisfaction of certain conditions set out in the acquisition agreement. Porta today confirms that, following satisfaction of those conditions it has now issued the remaining 1,760,010 ordinary shares of 10p each ("Consideration Shares") due in respect of the initial acquisition of 51% of Redleaf Communications. 3 obvious sells at 50k. Then a definate buy at 100k. At that point the water gets murky. Unclear if the second 100k trade was a buy or sell. I suspect buy. With the 18k trade a definate sell. Meanwhile on ISDX. 2 definate afternoon buys at 6.1p for 20904 and 35k. Then a 200k trade at 6p around 14.57hrs. Would the trade price really go down 20 mins later if buy?? So a lot of shares trading hands today on both markets. Lot of good comment today Adastra. If you believe someone is buying up the slack from this seller, then now is a good time to buy in. I think they will stagger the next news over coming weeks.I think the board will know how many shares the seller has left and who is buying them up. They will be happy to wait for this to finish to buy up shares cheaply. It all seems too planned for me. So I am not worried about the 6p level. I think CAg will be helping Porta to find buyers too. So it may not just be Sanlam.

14p ouch! I can understand your frustration here if you are sitting on a big loss. My average is about 9.4p now as I have averaged down over last 2-3 years. The broker still rates Porta at 10p. I do think selling at this price is crazy. As the 90% of the sells are HH(?) clearing out. Plus a few investors shaken from the tree. Interesting to see news of CAG group hiring for their investors advisory council. Can't be bad if high profile names get linked to Porta. 14p would be sweet but realistically 10p is the first target this year for me. How the acquisitions work out could be key here. I think Porta have a good grip on this business and are planning things well here to grow this business quickly. Now Porta has a solid base I am sure the business will grow and flourish. Hopefully ending in some kind of takeover with a nice 30-50% premium on the share price.

Tried to post RNS earlier but mobile playing up. I figured we would get RNS this week. They love to stagger the news here. Clearly still planning acquisitions or mergers here. I suspect mergers. A COO is just the start of this.

Just noticed Hybridan LLP has followed Newgate on Twitter. Not sure it's important but seems to be the kind of firm Newgate might link up with? Probably coincidence? Timing is always interesting. Porta do like to make announcements in first week of the month. Hmmmm.

I have been studying the trades here. It matches the pattern of a big investor selling out. The seller matched many of the buys on here yesterday. We have had between 50k, 120k, 120k sold in last 3 days. I agree with Adastra this current share price has no reflection on how the firm is currently doing. It is purely a large II such as HH selling out. If they sell a 100k shares a day between now and May they should be cleared of their stock. I am not sure how much stock they actually have left here.( Assuming HH). At which point I have no doubt the directors will pile in and grab the cheap stock. Meanwhile Porta will look to acquisitions. I am hoping 1-2 between now and May. Come March 28th or so the directors will be in a closed period for final end year. Which as suggested by the TU should show Ebidta of 2.5M if you exclude one offs. I would predict a loss of circa 2.5M mostly from a paper write down and one off costs. 2016 should be very close to a profit in my view.

Like most things these firms won't respond to private emails. I would be concerned if they did as they may give out financially sensitive data. I read on another forum someone being upset that the FD in Porta would not return his email many months back. I would of been concerned if he had. Porta seem to be sticking to the books when it comes to business procedures. I agree about the trading updates not being clear. Took me over an hour to work out the possible numbers. I disagree about the biggest problem for this share. The biggest issue Porta have is it's shareholders. We have had too many stale investors over last 2 years that have been selling out. Be it ex directors, institutions or those that got frustrated as Porta is still not making a paper profit. Like you i think 2016 should be the year to turn this around. A stable share price here would really help Porta. Unfortunately with Aim shares they tend to be more volatile in movement. I wonder if this EU Brexit vote could be good for Porta too. I read the Out? campaign had hired 5 PR agencies of which 3 had asked not to be named yet. This is the sort of thing Porta is perfect for. They were all local UK PR agencies across the country. On this one they actually name Porta in their financial report (Year end Feb 2015.) as one of their worst performers down 53%. It seems this fund only had 200k invested in Porta. Not as much as VCT1. I assume there is other HH funds I have not yet found that holds the rest of these 25M or so shares. My gut is they could be lowering price here to encourage more buyers or allow the final balance of the shares to be sold to another II. Just have to see what happens here. In his video Steffan suggests other acquisitions and hires are on the way and we would get announcement for these. My guess is at start of March and April to stagger the news flow. With a break after the results to allow directors to buy in. There is no way they would allow the price to reach 4p as that would be less than half of the brokers value.Should be an interesting few weeks ahead. Will we see a new major share holder announced?? Is anyone here actually going to the AGM? Has anyone emailed HH to see if they are clearing all their stock here?? Hard to say with so many funds they have.

It's got nothing to do with the company performace. Hales Hargreaves had a 9.59% stake here. The directors are locked out so we just have to wait for HH to finish. Once they clear their stock the share will bounce back. HH will drip shares here daily till they clear their remaining stock. They have probably instructed a broker to do this for them. Patience is the key. I bet the II are just waiting till they get a bargain price. The market players will know exactly what stock HH or the current seller has. (Can't assume it is HH.)

I think HH are adjusting their portfolio. They have 40-50 shares on it. My view is that as Porta is such a small % of their holdings now they have decided to cut their losses. They are raising funds for other things.

Looking back at Hargreaves Hale AIM VCT 1 factsheets. Porta used to be in their top 10 portfolio share offering. Around 3.3% of their entire portfollio. In March 2015 it was 1.55% of their Portfolio. Their September report suggests it is now just 0.95% of their portfolio. Which appear to be due to the fall in Porta's share price. Looking at their fund Porta is one of the shares on it that is losing them money. It will be interesting to see their interim report on March 31st 2016 to see what % share Porta is still in their holdings. If it is not on the list that will tell a story. See what happens here. My gut is they will clear their holding here as it is becoming a small part of their fund now.

I doubt we will see 4p. You are judging the share price based on a II selling out. All the directors are currently locked out due to acquisitions. The business has a turnover of nearly 27M? Why would you rate it at 4p? The issue here is investors are getting cold feet due to HH selling up. I would not be suprised to see the share recover tomorrow. The recent trading update suggests they will meet their ebidta targets once you exclude one off costs. Pateince is the key here. All shares have risks. There is a big upside here once the II clears it's position. Remember HH had a 9.58% stake here so that being sold would be a huge burden on the share.

Interesting about the dollar. See if that brings some cheers to the bottom line. Will have to wait and see on big trades. That 6.73p trade looks to be a buy. So would take a big buy to push this above 7p again. Been quite a few sells in last 2-3 trading days. I count nearly 3M sells since 13th January. So if HH is selling they may have under 12M shares now. Probably a lot less in my opinion.
