So my thoughts on who the seller/s are here. There was a 4M pounds share issue just over 3 years ago. This issued 50m shares. Of which 10M went to Bob Morton's company but 40 million shares went to institutions. These shares were issued around March 18th 2013. So what we are probably seeing here is some of these stale investors selling here. This could explain the 2.6M share sale. This would also explain why Hargreave Hales still have 5.58% here. So maybe I/we have all just misread what is happening here. I just assumed as their shares in company dropped nearly 4-5% this year it must have been them. I wonder if Porta did this update to calm the market? Might also explain why there has been no RNS from HH.

Looks like the 10% fall yesterday was an over reaction from MM. The updated investor page indicates none of the large investors over 3% have sold any stock in last 4 months. Answers on a postcard. http://portacommunications.plc.uk/porta-investors

RNS out. Results on 24th May. Looking at the price drops today they all relate to times of trades. Must be a big overhang here. HH are clearly eager to sell if it is them.

100% agree Val. In Publicasity case this is the second contract win in a month. They only had 7-8 clients. All listed on their webpage. As long as Porta get new contracts announced regularly I am not worried.

So we have had a few late trades this week. 2 x50k buys. A 100k sell. A 300k sell. Finishing week today on a 250k buy! Always good to end week on a positive note. Let's hope this continues till the results. If the seller is HH they could have 7-8+ million shares.

Join the club. The sellers have controlled the sp here. That large trade has put a brake on the share price. I count nearly 1m (including isdx) buys since the 2 100k sells.

Not sure how these numbers have been worked out. Did they include Redleaf? Can't see Redleaf on the list. Pretty sure Redleaf's revenue would be at least 2-4M now. 200k of sells this morning and the price drops 7%. Followed by 590k of buys on LSE and 124k buys on ISDX.and were only up 2%. Must still be a big overhang from that 2.6M sell. Least the share recovered today. Bizarre amount of trades on no news. See how rest of day pans out.

We need these results soon. Up to 4 weeks wait. (Up to 6 months from year end.) Hopefully get an RNS 2 weeks before the results to confirm the date. One way or another we should have some new in next 2 weeks here. This share must be worth at least 9-10p. Directors buys up to 9.4p too. It's almost as if buyers are waiting for the over hang to clear first. Who really buys a share when it is falling? So frustrating with so many sells here on a week by week basis. Adastra - Do you think any acquisition/s will actually happen here? Time is running out if they want to do any acquisitions before the results. No way they can issue shares at this price. They would need to use cash or delayed payment deals of some sort. That or offer up office space again? The CAG deal was inspired. Really tempted to pick up shares at this price. Just nervous of the continual sells. Pretty sure this will rebound quickly if the results bring good news.

Your thinking too much about this Adastra. The issue of 1.7M shares is barely 0.6% of the total share amount. The main reason for the depressed share price is a consistant seller/s. Fact is I think Porta is doing well. No evidence to show this is not the case. I suspect larger investors will come once they have shaken the tree here and the results are revealed. We have seen this before and the share surged to 9-10p. Like Val62 I expect a similar surge again. The question is what will happen in the 4 weeks before the results and is there still a big seller out there? Did they clear their stock last week? Won't be selling any time soon here.

Unclear if this is because of PPS and Publicasity and or if it includes Redleaf. The share price is where it is. Buys are currently showing as sells. One buy shown on ISDX today at 5.5p for 10,000 shares. 89k trade was also a buy. What we need is. 1. News on the acquisitions. Before May Results? 2. Proof that an II is buying in here and if HH are still selling or not. 3. The results to show company performance for 2015. Plus director buys come the results to boost SP. 5. More contract win announcements. These 5 will hopefully help lift this share. Unfortunately we may have to wait till end of May to find out any of this. A director buy would force them to update investors page. See what happens. GLA.

Well that puts a different complexion on the trades on 21st. So perhaps all those quick fire trades were actually planned buys from an II? Someone in the background arranged to buy up all the stock?? One thought is a director has soaked up the stock for May when the results come out? MM set aside the shares for them?? Would the trade show as 4p in May/June if that is the case?? Maybe Steffan is about to make his mark? That would be good. There has been no RNS relating to % levels of major share holders stakes. Then again we got no RNS when that 6M sell went through 1 or so years back which I think was from Marlborough (HH). If all these sell trades were HH over last 4 months they must of cleared 8M+ stock since Jan. HH only had about 15M shares. 15-8=7M left. 3% of Porta is 8.7M shares. This should of forced an RNS. So we could well have different sellers. Or medium sized investors selling. Still possible HH has not sold any shares since Jan. The other option is someone is offering to buy out various shareholders entire stock as they want in. At 4p I would of bought shares at that price. The 4p price would also be much lower than the market price due to the volume. It's almost 1% of the company shares. Interesting.

If HH had cleared their stock they would most likely inform the market. My gut is this is a stale investor or ex director who has cleared their stake. We can guess Bob's 6m trade was related to HH. Exactly same time Marlborough sold. There is no proof HH have touched their VCT stock. Why would they when someone is soaking up all the sold stock here. Seems crazy to me.Porta would be keen to inform market if HH were out as it would support share price. Wait for May. Steffan interview perhaps suggests new exec on way. See what happens.

That trade for 576674 shares at 13.34pm looks like a buy to me. As around 13.34 the bid was 5p-5.25p. That would of forced up the SP. All these trades at the midpoint trades could also be buys?? 2.4M shares is a lot of trades on no news. @ Adastra - I am sure HH could wait 28 or so days for the directors? They have waited almost a year to clear 5% of their stock. HH must be in contact with Porta regarding their stake? I can't believe the mystery buyer is unable to contact HH to offer to buy them out? It's not difficult to work out who PTCM major share holders are. This is why I wonder if it's not actually HH or Ruffers? All these small trades today were bizarre. I have not added them all up.

Really doubt the seller is HH. Hales hargreave are not silly. They would sell to the directors instead of dumping shares like this. Clearly not Ruffers either as they do RNS. Buyers are in the wings but are happy to let share drift so they can buy cheap stock. Diectors will have huge orders come may. If a buyer wants a big stake here they may buy just before results.

Usual pattern again today. Large sell on Friday. Today someone has cleared up all the stock. If HH were so eager to sell why don't they do one large trade for 8-10 million shares to this buyer/s? Makes no sense to me. We have been wrong before. Maybe this is a smaller investor/s selling up? I think all will become clearer after the results when directors can hopefully buy in here. All guess work really. 6p seems a good point to buy in.

Been a really quiet week for share trades. No odd 1000 or 1500 share trades. Albeit we had a 250k sell late on today. Hard to know if II or not.
