Whichever way you look at there are a lot of contradictions.

On the one hand Roland is on record as saying that the flow rate from this well has little bearing on what is to be expected from new wells in virgin rock and that conclusion of the jv is not dependent on removal of the condensate. Also were told many months ago that the jv had completed the technical due diligence.

So, all that being the case, why the hell is the jv taking so long and why is the before and after comparison now seem so important ? Hopefully, all will become clear soon.

Careful Dicko. Remember you're not supposed yo mention the massive downgrading of potential future profits. Lol.

However, even with that drop future profit should still be enough for a jv. They give a profit for the Base case for 10 wells of 58 million usd. That would be about 200 million for say 35 wells or double that if they could achieve the upside case.

Does anyone still believe what they originally said about completion of the jv not being dependent on removal of the condensate ?

This is one question I may ask.

The recent presentation gave NPVs for 10 wells of 58 million usd for the Base case and 120 million for the Upside case. How likely is the Upside case to be achieved ?

I wont be submitting any questions until a day or two before. Not much point until we know what's been revealed beforehand. Trouble is, he'll be limited in what he can say about what hasn't been revealed in an rns.

Probably wont be able to listen live on the day. Anybody know if it will be available to listen to later ? You'd assume so.

I suppose a smaller high risk investment fund, similar to Republic might get involved. Hard to see, say, a pension fund, being interested.

Agree there's no institutional interest and unlikely to be. People have been saying that every since Roland came in.

SS. I stand by my opinions. Zag has been here a long time and has been open about his infrequent buying and selling. Eagle is equally open and obvious in his machinations and we all know what to expect.

Maybe I am naive but I would rather think the best of people than continually suspicious.

As for Eagle, I must admit he is annoying at times, but he makes no bones about his tactics which seem quite successful. He changes direction at the drop of a hat, hence why a few weeks ago, I commented on his seamless " Volte face ".

No way is Zag a scalper, whatever that means. He just got nervous and decided to get out with a small loss rather than risk a bigger one. He actually wished those still in, good luck if he was wrong.

Fair point NS but what I think Zag means they are high in context of the current volume at a time when you might be expecting a lot of buys. Time will tell.

Ssccss. No Roland had never actually said in an rns that the 77h flow rate doesn't matter, they did however say both in a Tweet and rns that the jv wasn't contingent on the removal of the condensate. If that really us the case what has been holding the jv up?

Anyway here again is what Roland said in sn email on 28/9/23

"I" think you’ve homed in on what most shareholders are missing in so far as future new horizontal wells will be drilled in virgin rock. C-77H is an old well which has already seen significant production. Extrapolation future production from new wells is not an exact science since we’re dealing with rocks of variable quality but we’re confident that a horizontal well of c, 1000m with multiple fracked zones will give us the required production rates. And fracking 2 zones compared to 20 zones has relatively low incremental cost."
