Just checked, it was a week ago. A week is a long time in share trading. Up up and away. These were 250p a month ago and will be back there in a month's time imho.
Aren't I allowed to change my mind? Not sure where you dug that old post up from but it was more than 24 hour ago.
Pointless striking again. No better deal to be had just more money down the pan. Take the deal, get the company back on its feet and then take a share of profits as per the deal.
Option A is to vote yes and accept modernisation and a pay rise and a share of profits.
Option B is to vote no and go on strike and lose money with no pay rise and modernisation happens anyway.
"goldman sachs has done an 'AI bear' ETF which shorts KWS." Apparently. Big squeeze from powerful forces. No idea where the sp will end up.
If you check dividend history you will see that it was under 3 percent the previous 3 years so last year's divi was a one off and is likely to be cut next time, hence the drop in shareprice.
I would take. Anything DK says with a pinch of salt, he's not likely to show his hand and it would be foolish to announce that he plans a bid before he has the required amount. No reason why he can't change his mind. All things considered I expect a swift return to 250p as I've now closed my short and bought and Jesus loves me.
I was a postie for 26 years and never cared much about what work I did or my start and finish time and neither did my mates. When I signed my contract was to work any hours I was asked to.
Most postie's couldn't care less as long as they get a decent wage. You think a few radical leftists posting of Facebook reflects opinions? That's hilarious. How many of the 100 thousand plus postie's have posted a message on Facebook? Most postie's have had enough of striking.
I don't see them going much lower now. I expect them to settle their differences on Tuesday followed by a yes vote and then they can start to get the business back on track. Regardless the new terms and conditions will be brought in. I particularly like the sick pay changes which will be a big saving.
Now available on eBay.
Just speaking to my postie who says that most in his office have had enough of this now and will be voting yes and moving on. He says that getting the company back on a sound financial footing is their priority and then sometime after that pushing for a larger pay increase. He doesn't care much about start times or conditions. He just wants to do his hours and then go home with a decent wage. He also said that it's a loud socialist minority that are stirring things up and that those have either now left the union or won't vote. He's confident of a yes vote, once it's back on the table.
Looking good for a recovery back to 250p now that it looks like the ballot is back on. Likely to be close but expecting a yes vote.
Short of stock? Whoever bought at the placing is holding tight.
Priceless, you do make me chuckle. The only thing propping up the sp was your Ruskie mate and now that he's stopped buying, watch it crumble. The workforce have had enough and they have let the CWU know that they want to fight on. Expect more strikes and bigger losses.
No not Putin, your crush Kretinsky. TIMBER!!!
Lol! Made 5 grand in the last few weeks shorting this pos. Which is more than your Russian guru has made out of them.
If GLS was sold the money would go straight into shareholders pockets."
Hilarious, absolutely hilarious. GLS was built on the back of postie's and bought from profits they earned. Selling it would be the first thing the government would insist upon
Oh dear. Looks like they will have to sell off GLS to prop up RM. Might give IDS a couple of years to sort things out but ultimately they will need to raise funds through a heavily discounted placing.
On the bright side though, my short is doing well.
A heavily discounted placing is most likely. No point listing on the stock market if you're not going to raise funds.
Lol! You just described yourself. Ah gah gah gah gah gah gah.
