I'm just considering putting a chunk into a 5% fix rate pond or taking a punt on some stocks.

I'm in the process of taking my pension at 59. I've opted for transferring my cash fund and my avs's to my SIPP, the more of it under my control the better..

Off the top of my head I don't recall. I do remember that they changed the pension with the excuse being that it would go into deficit if they didn't. Maybe it was changing the retirement age to 65? Either way they said they had no money.

I disagree, their excuse for cancelling the DB scheme was because they couldn't afford to keep it going. If they hadn't taken the holiday we would still be in It.

Wait a minute, why do those who joined after 2017 get a payout? What about those that have never paid into the pension?

Didn't they switch the CSDB to the CBB in 2018 because they said it was going into deficit? Or was it the DB they cancelled? Laying B******S.

Terrible results, looks like all the bad news is priced in.

Perhaps it's the other way around. The chart says 180p so events have to occur in a way to make it so. A sort of self fulfilling prophecy. After all the chart is controlled by the matrix. See it as a great way to predict the future.

Perhaps the 68% is opinion rather than fact. My guess for the new deal would be another £500 and of course greater cooperation. All paid for by a large increase in stamp prices, as indicated. I don't think we've heard the last of the USO issue, with management, the CWU and OFCOM all on the same page.

Not over the line until it's a yes vote but I think that a yes vote will be secured. If not the first time then the second time, as with The Way Forward Agreement..

Yes no point been off sick when you're not feeling well. May as well be at work and save your sick time for when you can enjoy it.

Brooch, I know but still think it's pointless taking an extra 5 days off and most wouldn't do it.

What would you gain from that? You wouldn't get any extra pay and it would count towards your sick record.

Anyway if there's no ballot or it's a no vote I don't think that they can unilaterally change your contract.
