Good comments Olderwiser.
There's definitely still some need to 'educate' or 'promote' the information today in a better (ney, different) way than was done 50 years ago. It must frustrate the hell out of these mature oilers who took for granted the guaranteed riches from mega oil discoveries such as Prudhoe Bay. Hell, thats why they are there or at least it's part of their psyche. To be having to go these lengths to explain again pretty much what they told the world in April is as much astonishing as the discovery itself.
I can't believe it, they can't believe it.
Not that I am saying there was no new information. There was plenty of new info and expertly presented in a truly honest and professional way.
So for me now, Either
a) the world will wake up tomorrow to the meaning of the news from todays webinar and the SP will rerate accordingly or
b) they will ignore until the day the oil flows. (attitude = "heard it all before" or "the worlds gone green, so who cares").
If b) happens, then there will still be the interested parties who want to steal a deal based on financial gain. If b) doesn't happen, we should have a)!
At the end of the day every share has risks. I just think this share has derisked massively over the last 6 months, and deserves its current Market capital x 10.

In the Interim Report RNS 11th Aug, AG stated the following:
"Project Icewine
The nearby Talitha-A well drilled by Patheon Resources showed encouraging results with the potential for the Theta West and the prospective sands of the Kuparuk formation extending onto the Icewine acreage. The internal geoscience team are to reassess the potential across the acreage following these results." End quote.
My own feeling is that if Pantheon are right about their research and exploration, then 88e have plenty to gain by their success.
I hope 88e are being diligent and thorough in their analysis of everything being released as well as using their own 'intelligence' to reinterpret the icewine drills and seismic.
For me, this is all market info that will affect the SP for those who understand the technical detail.
That does not include me :-( Help! geologists?

I agree. THIS IS NOT bad news by any means. Especially not for those with a long term perspective. I am really excited to see the phase 2 role out. I don't expect everyone to share my views but really, why would you sell if you had done your research and read today's news?
I suspect a disconnect with reality for some investors looking for the quick killing.
Hold and be bold. Courage in your convictions. Etc.

I noticed that the new leases (393990 to 394043) that PANR bought in Jan 2021 are active from 1st Aug 2021. Think its worth reading again the RNS from Jan 14th this year to refresh memories for tomorrow's webinar.

..some poor beggar must have bought at 25.5p and now be around 20% down already.
I've set my 'buy in' price reminder at 9p.

The only way this is going to rise is if they get bought out by someone who believes in the 'story'.
If its going to happen, it will happen sooner rather than later imo. The SP is saying something different though. The SP is saying - er what are we doing here with no hope of developing to approval stage on our own - little boy lost type scenario.

I'm underwater with this share. I expected more positives going forward but so far I've been disappointed with progress. Judging by the lack of posts on here, so is everyone else.
I actually don't mind people ramping my share up for me so you all go ahead and ramp away. I can't find any positives, so please if you can, post them. Luckily my investment in this crap is less than 1mill. By the sounds of the bleating on here it looks like some may underwater by a gut wrenching larger wadge of dosh. Tch tch. Should have listened to Warren Buffet. If you are not willing to hold a share for 10 years don't own it for 5 minutes.
I could go back and refer to some of the ridiculous posts on here from Apr/May. But if your invested here you'll be well aware of all misplaced hype.
Oh I do hope I'm wrong and Baron does well. But so far who can actually honestly say they are delighted with their investment? Look forward to the newly unearthed research that will put me straight and convince me to keeping nursing my loss or urge me to cut and run.
