If/when the GGP share price gets to 18.5p I will have broken even after nearly 3 years trading in AIM stocks and having retired early 2.5 years ago. Foolishly chose the wrong stocks (interest rates being so poor, seemed the right choice at the time)- GGP is my 'last chance saloon' but has brought me back from over 80% down on my entire savings to now 'just' 45% down.

20p here and I would be slightly in profit on a portfolio basis - lost far too much whilst learning (VAL, IMM, UKOG, ANGS, PSL, TERN).
So much that is 'right' with GGP - resource for which there is proven demand, JV with a major, funded, directors with skin in the company, potential for more gold to be found, integrity shown by BOD... etc.

Appreciate your insights - helped many of us to hold tight. Understand we are obligated to do our own research, but really helpful when impassionate (verb) but fair posters share tangible information to assist us in making balanced decisions.

Interesting quote "Newcrest Mining's margins are better than the majority of senior producers, and its reserve base is the largest, giving the company a secure mine life without pressure to acquire to drill like crazy to replace ounces", and yet they are drilling like crazy at Havieron. We know it is to get quality grade ore into Telfer, but still revealing.

OK - First Post Alert... but I have been reading LSE or 3 years and in GGP for 2 years.
Paddy - excellent work, informative, respectful and patient - thank you.
I nearly joined a couple of weeks ago to filter some when the board exploded into life, then I almost decided to join the 1 million T - 2 million T debate from the BoA presentation.
I have listened back again - at 15mins 40seconds - Sandeep states that they are likely to target Firstly the High Grade area, and 'I've heard it's about' 1 million T (if I get his accent correctly).
I read this as meaning the VERY HIGHEST grade ore is potentially 1mT to 2mT (not per annum, and even if pa, for how many annum?). THEN onto the HIGH GRADE then .. and so on whilst economic to do so.
Whatever the case, as Paddy and others have been saying for some time now, NCM are getting a clearer and clearer view of what they have. Is this the first time (apart from drill results) that Sandeep has pinned his colours to the mast of some kind of factual numbers (10x grade Telfer, 1-2mT) ?
