... and if other shares in the index have incorrect weightings due to possible miscalculations of their free float, would that not reduce the potential % additional fund monies moving to GGP in December?

Sold 80k on Tuesday but waiting to sell another 150k to complete.

Today I received permission from my wife to sell only enough GGP shares to replace the (ancient, leaky) conservatory and (nine year old requiring £800 repairs) car.
Now some of the male board readers may raise an eyebrow, but she has been very patient - did not moan at the start of 2020 when I announced that I had lost £140k and so no new car and no new conservatory.
That means that if the share price retains its current level, I will be able to retain 500k-600k of GGP shares for the long haul.
This has been an emotional roller-coaster - thanks Paddy, Mushroomkid, Hydro, etc etc .

18.5p in GGP makes up ALL of my losses elsewhere - about £140k.
PHEW.
Sold 20k as I needed the cash, at 18.925, but could not bring myself to sell any more than that.

Really good to see continuing and growing size of mineral deposit.
Will be interesting to see the mining plan / decline, when lodged.

One or two posters have already drawn attention to this today, but well woth repeating - now in print.

Let us say 30% of HAV is valued at £1.2bn, for arguments sake.
NCM want a decent return on capital, so they would not pay full price.
..and they are taking all of the risk (POG falls sharply, etc etc).
All of the calculations change substantially if/when SW shows encouraging results.
It has been stated many times on this BB that as soon as the price tag of GGP increases (due to further success), the likelihood of a complete takeover diminishes.
It is all speculation anyhow.
