My impression of the situation was that the 84 workers were still employed by FRR but on temporary leave (eg not working but possibly on some sort of paid leave) and when they protested repeatedly to get their owed wages they then got laid off as Zaza had threatened previously. From the bits and bobs I've read I don't actually think they were working anything for FRR as such and were hanging round in limbo waiting for the situation to be sorted. Whether or not the GOGC stepped in and substituted the workers when the liquidation started to keep the oil flowing - since FRR couldn't pay our workers I don't know. Maybe that's were the 'taken over FRR equipment etc' came from. All just wild speculation on my part.

I agree that is more or less pointless to make any public statements frr side this close to finish for better or worse

If what DevonianExile says is true, then if they have brought it up at the arbitration, it probably would explain the GG coming out with the 'baseless accusations' as damage control, U.S congressmen involvement and also why they made an offer already. Lets hope FRR actually have some solid evidence for once.

He's possibly been egged on by the GG to release some sort of statement due to all the U.S congressmen letters being published

I sold most of my GGP holding to buy into FRR. FRR will no doubt be ultimately the better investment choice....eventually ;)

Why have the GG already made an offer then, which FRR rejected? Just seems like generic tough talk that both sides offer up in a dispute besides, I was under the impression it wasn't a win lose scenario anyway in an arbitration. Why do they want 99% back of the block if it has no O&G in it? Is it prime Vineyards land? What's the 3.5 billion counter claim based on? Doesn't take much to swing the sentiment of this board.

Why don't you find some for the bulletinboard yourself and contribute instead of just dispersing negativity every post. There is a reason you have been banned several times and it's not because you are a good, reasoned contributer that should be acknowledged.

This 11 month pay deficit is a stick they keep beating FRR with but it wasn't the initial reason for the arbitration kicking off. FRR could easily argue they could of paid the workers X times over if GG were playing fair (assumption) and not making them squander millions on the arbitration case in the first place.

As someone has noted on advfn, there are people who are furiously posting away on there for over a year since it delisted. Clearly not all shorting platforms have paid out.
