So arbitration was delayed till the end of Jan and assuming all goes well financing will be put in place shortly afterwards. We know financing is going to be a fair old whack since the last we heard about it, it was at 160mil. Whether BP is still knocking about waiting for frr to get its sheet together is yet to be seen but I imagine it would only be a matter of time until a super major or the Chinese peaks some interest again if we survive and begin field development.
I however, do not like the sound of 'crisis period' to me that means the staff will still not be getting paid until late January and that does not fill me with confidence. That is a very grim situation for them and the stability of the company. I hope they recieve some sort of interim payment before Christmas and that Zaza was being realistic.

Link to original article for anyone feeling detectivy. I did several searches online using lines of text from the Georgian article and could not find it published online anywhere. This did seem like a relatively small story though

As far as i can tell it seems legit, i've double checked the translation to the best of my abilities and it all seems legit. Although, i suspect a limitation of google translate It's seem to translate 'Frontera' to Mkhedruli text. It would be good to question the poster though, like how did he translate it. Is he a native speaker of Georgian? Is he in Georgia? I suspect so, related to the company? possibly.

There was a link to a Georgian newspaper cutting of the article. Not sure what going to that much effort to scare people this late in the game is going to achieve.

Why are the liquidators getting arsey about the Arbitration? Are they worried about their 5% going for a stroll? They also seemingly have nothing concrete to say that it wasn't a lawful asset move, which is why they want to go digging with a discovery. Zaza & Co are keeping the liquidators almost as clueless as us until the Georgian government is dealt with it appears.

200x employes, 10month wage bill will not be cheap. If we are on the way out, hopefully they do the honorable thing and pay them out for being the life blood of the company and sustaining it all this time. By the sounds of it, some of them have got into some bad financial circumstances, believing frr are going to get through this at some point in good shape - and they should know best being on the coal face. It will be scummiest outcome for them and their families to get to Christmas, without a penny from frr and for this to end badly. Let's hope their faith hasn't been in vain - Some of the posters on here wouldn't of lasted a week in their situation!

The article was good wasn't it? Apart from the overall garbage situation for the FRR employees. FRR are still alive, still have employees, still producing oil and appear to be getting some money back off the Georgian government in some form or another. Not only that but some vague deadline of the 5th of November for something is coming up, unless it is just another placebo

Interesting, perhaps him putting 2019 in his head meant still currently working for them - who knows. Didn't he have 3 arbitration cases listed before in his CV? Maybe it is not concluded yet so decided to remove it for the time being.

Seems unlikely he would change it randomly or that the general mood of this board is leaking back to FRR in some manner. I suspect (even if he has not replied) that he has read some emails sent by shareholders via linkedin or whatever, expressing their concerns about the ambiguity of it, or perhaps his CV was giving away more information than it was supposed to.

If he did read it, I think he'd be hurt that Tim deleted his number.
