I think that the strategy is run the share price down to 25p, take it private at 30p and sell to big multinational at £1. Small shareholders being played and taken for mugs
Will 2023 be any better?
The cut will have an impact on all, shares purchased by small shareholders. Why risk your money if the dividends and gains are no longer tax free. This government wants shares to be held by institutions and not small shareholders. We are going back to the 70s, just going out to get some flares and platform shoes
When a shareprice moves this quickly in a difficult market, something is going on. I can see the company being split with a much higher combined company value
How does a company making £200m and falling each year have a market cap of over £2bn? At one point you could argue that the value of the freeholds supported such a high valuation but as we now know there is much less value in high street locations. Can see further falls in the share price coming
Even with great results and the announcement of moving into the roadside sector the share price does not move. This company will get bought out by one of the big roadside operators, probably Eurogarages at some point. I would prefer to see them flourish as an independent company but nothing they do gets reflected in the low share price
Who would have thought that one of the most despicable politicians ever would be the thing that we needed to change the shareprice movement of this company. We no longer need fing dancing dogs for entertainment, just useless MPs eating *****es and anuses. What a strange world we live in
If the share price keeps climbing like this, will soon be back in FTSE100. That should give us another quick jump up, at last!
Phantom, thanks for your kind comments. Yes I have been burnt this time having bought in at £1. I always knew that this would implode one day but fortunately I was only gambling with profit previously made on Angle. Clearly we have a great product with this company but no money or expertise internally to make a commercial return. I have sold half my holding today as I think this company is struggling. Left in half in case I am wrong. Basically gambling with “all profit” money. If shareprice goes to zero I have made a small profit. If it doubles I have made a good profit.
It is all just a game/gamble and I feel sorry for anyone who sees this company as a good long term prospect
It is a shame to see this companies value falling to next to nothing. Someone will pick up the pieces and make a fortune out of this. Should have brought in someone with commercial experience who could have made this fly. Probably too late now
Is something wrong? YES. Heavily manipulated share price has made a lot of people money (myself included) based on hype and hope. Hype is still there, hope has gone.
I had the unfortunate pleasure of being in M&S in Birmingham. The lighting was in low, no music, no atmosphere and very few customers. When I came out of the Wcs I heard a lady complaining about how disgusting the female wCs were. If this is how one of their larger stores operates, I fear that the shareprice has further to fall
So AN does another business update and knocks another 10% off the shareprice. You cannot keep updating the market on how brilliant you are but keep saying that you cannot commercialise the product that you have developed. To say that other companies will soon realise the commercial benefit is not good enough. Do yourself a favour and sell the company to someone that can make some money
If AN is talking on Thursday, expect the share price to be 50p by end of week. Although he will convince everyone that he is a genius (which he is), he will offer no guidance on how this will translate to any significant profits. Think Clive Sinclair and John Delorean, both had great ideas and were ahead of their time but commercially very poor. Only hope of share price increase is a sell out to a major pharmacy company. Who knows, maybe that will happen when Angle next runs out of cash.
When the person below thought 55p was an interesting price, did they mean 5.5p which is where it is heading
Who cares if Holy stays or goes? Morning TV could do with a change. ITV could replace her with a dancing dog as this is their idea of prime time entertainment
The end game here is that Stroll and the Saudis get the remainder of the company on the cheap. The shareprice will continue to fall and this will be taken private around 50p mark. We are all getting mugged but nothing we can do to stop this corporate raid
The shareprice is falling by 10% a day. By the end of the month there will be no value left and Stroll and the Saudi investors get the remainder of the company for nothing. We are being robbed and there is nothing that we can do
I cannot think of one reason to take up the rights issue. I am down 50% and cannot see any upside. Is this not just private companies taking AML private on the cheap? What would stop them doing the same again in 12 months?
Incredible how many people do not understand how rights issues works but they hold AML shares. Just goes to show how many people like to hold trophy shares like this and have no understanding of how the market works. They are always going to lose money so why do they bother purchasing?
