Market makers WANT MOB shares! The spread is thin at 49.75/50p and they are prepared to buy them at 50p,but try getting them at 50p!!

Even with the three large sells today,the market makers seem to still want to buy shares.Yesterdays 51/52p spread is not too different from what we see now.Just wonder if we are seeing another shake of the trees? Likewise wonder what the mm,s attitude would be if someone tried to buy a large chunk of shares.I had problems buying 30000 three weeks ago.JUST NOTICED YOUR 3877 PURCHASE.bEST OF lUCK!!

the only problem being that they may take a surge and I /we are left kicking ourselves for trying to be smart playing the downward market trend.I note on SEO that there is a site that monitors the selling of shorts/longs.I am unfamiliar with this site.Have you checked or can you let me have the address so I can peruse.As I mentioned I am waiting on funds but 51p is a tempting price even bearing in mind the down trend over the past week.

Institutional selling appears to be the problem,coupled with cfd activity.Your points are all valid,and as I hold at 58p I fear the sp may further drop.I am waiting for funds and will review on Monday as to what I do.If they are at this level or below I will likewise do a topping up exercise.Might I suggest to you that you wait a day or two and top up then? However I am of the opinion that the recent bearish market on MOB has been overplayed.Having followed the share like you for the past five months the past three weeks share trading has been untipicle.Sticking with this one until I hear of an offer(or otherwise)and if otherwise going to have to wait around for an sp recovery.As you mentioned earlier this company has a low 30m cap,which should be a bargain for a take out,unless of course there are gremlins being unearthed

Having started the day with a rise to 57p we now find ourselves looking at 52.5p.The past few weeks has seen most of the trades being through Investec buying small volumes and selling larger chunks.The thing that really gets me is the single figure share trades

The directors to whom you refer are all gone.They were the reason Smart has gotten where it is today.The chareholders have voted on 31st Oct to sell 90% of the company to Callely a company owned by Brendan Murtagh for 1 euro,The other 10% remains in the ownership of shareholders,and any value obtained by Callely will be due to the shareholders.However this share will be delisted very soon to defray costs.

All my eggs are in the MOB basket.With interested parties sniffing around since the start of August,I would have thought that an announcement either way would have been made at this stage.Perhaps its a question of haggling over the actual price but if there were no longer anyone about the market would have to be informed.The sp is currently 50% above its lowest level of 37p which is a steal taking into account the fact that ther is someone interested and ther was talk of a relaxing of the Chinese restrictions.Intend holding these until the air is cleared either way.In the event of bad news they can only go back to hovering around the 40p mark at worst.My guess is that we are getting a free ride at current sp.Would like to see something soon,as I want to re-invest all in PRTY and at their levels they represent a very good buying opportunity for a 20% and upward rise in the short term

Shares in this rose over 14% on Friday from 14c to 16c.The year hagh was 17c and low of 10c

TRX appears to mileage in it,whilst MOB is raring to go.The selling on MOB over the past few days has all been cfd activity.My guess is that this share price will return to somewhere near where it has been(70s)without positive news and rocket on bis news.Remember this share reached the lowly figure of 37p and is now at 54p mid.You will be kicking yourself letting it go at this rate

Easy to buy these but difficult to sell.While they languish in the lower divisions the share price suffers.Remember buying these a few years ago at .12 and getting out just before their FA Cup final defeat at .37.Have had no reason to venture back. What is your reason for investing in these?

The vast propartion of todays trades were buys including the last 80k one which shows as a sell.Additionally over 80k were bought just after 2pm in quick sucession and the sp was not effected.This is strange,as MOB shares have traditionally fluctuated to reflect either sales or buys in the past.The likes of these trades would have pushed the price upward by a number of pence in weeks/months gone by.Anyone any ideas?

Been trying since opening bell to get in on these but had been unsuccessful until now.My view for what it is worth is that some investors are getting tired waiting for the bid hence the lowering of sp.However with that 22000 after close trade at 55p which dragged the sp down by 6p from normal trading during Friday,I forecast a return to where it was and rising to mid/high 60s by Friday.Any thoughts on when we will finally know what is happening to MOB and the bidding?

This should be a good buy when the markets open next week if the mms keep the closing price as their opening sp.The closing sp is the lowest we have seen since the scent of a bid emerged in late August.Intend to fill my boots if this close to this price is available as I see it as a guaranteed return of 20% during the week
