I thought 59p would be achievable bearing in mind the weeks downward pressure on the sp.FEC sold there shares over a two month period so I doubt whether that has been the factor behind the weakness.Wonder why a shareholder with over 30% has not been obliged to make an outright bid for the company.Will look at topping up again next week,and I agree with such an asset they have got to be a logical take over target or at least part of a JV

Weakness throughout the week and dropped sub 60p for a while. Looks like it could do the same again.Putting in an order at 59p to bring my average down to 70p and will leave it at that and wait for the hoped for surge in price to happen

Classic market makers up to their tricks!!! Only dribbles available at the price and an enquiry brings the price up. Have left my broker with instructions to buy me 8000 at 63p for the rest of day but cannot see that happening

69p average on 21k trade.My buy at 81p does not currently warrent a purchase to bring down my exposure level to a more realistic average.However if the downward trend continues sub 65p may have to consider

I think ZED will have had a much greater insight into MOBs books before Christmas to warrent them making a £34m offer for 52.6% of the company.The earn outs had been progressing for a good while prior to their buy in and I would hazard that favourable terms are being rubber stamped.If my memory recalls,a good portion of the earn outs can be satisfied by MOB shares which is encouraging seen as they were at £4 when the major chinese dealings were finalised and are now worth one eight of that price.My guesstimation is that ZED have not bought into a sinking ship,paying full capitalisation price at the time for a little over 50% interest unless there was some major upturn to make the injection a good deal for ZED and their own shareholders.I would buy these shares at current prices and sit on them awhile.There should be no reason why my prediction of 75p short term cannot be achieved and perhaps £1 in the longer term.ZEDs contribution has also saved MOB from a cash call which I assume would have had to be at a substantial discount on the then prevailing price

My guess is that the current 51-52p sp is a buy particularly now ZED are on board.Zed are investing as the main/majority shareholder for a number of reasons.Firstly,they will be able to cut overhead at both MOB and ZED which can only benefit both companies.Secondly they are getting a majority stake in a company at a cheap price and my guess is that they will attampt to take out the rest of shareholders in the near term.Why have them riding on the back of what they must consider to be a cash cow? I would also hazard that ZED have put in place some mechanism whereby they charge MOB management fees which could possibly be a drain on MOB resources and reduce considerably profits from that company thereby leaving ZED with an oportunity to acquire the remaining shares on the cheap.I would hazard that these shares could rise to 75p in the short term as people begin to understand ZEDs involvement.What have people got to lose? ZED have paid 50p a share and the only way is up.

Nice to see two chunky purchases of 40000 each trade.Someone obviously looking forward to a happy new year! Not much happening on this one over the past months and with any luck we should see some light at the end of the tunnel in 2007.Still bothers me that a company that has announced a huge find four months ago should see their sp drop to where it was pre announcement.

Better to take your SMR loss on the chin.The alternative is having money locked up in a delisted company.With a GOO average of 13p you have no real choice but to hold on in there and wait for them to rise,which could take time,or buy another load to average at 10.5p.The other three shares I have no knowledge as I have not been following them.Best of Luck

With apologies to Jackie(Chan)if he considers I am invading his space(Not only is his mobile smelling of gas but now he has numerous other smells to contend with!Keep you GOO for the present but set yourself a sell limit of perhaps 12p.I would sell IBB as I think they might drop back to 14p.What are you doing in SMR? The company is about to be delisted and you will end up having difficulty selling.Get rid of those first thing Monday.Regarding MOB,I would suggest you keep away for the time being.Extremely volitile,and the way you go in and out of shares quickly you are likely to get your fingers burned.Set yourself a sensible entry price of say 38p and hold until the bid deadline.You should end up no worse than even in the event of no bid snd well ahead in the event of a bid.Anything you have left from the sells above you may consider an investment in FEP.Davius hass made valuable posts on this stock and they are due a steep rise.My views as you asked for but it is your money and you must do as you feel appropriate

If as you say it were one of the bigger companies the share would have soared and remained there.But size should not matter(tell that to my wife!)if they have hit the jackpot.A JV is wnat is required as the costs are so high to do it on a stand alone player.Either way we know what they have,other majors know what they have so it is just a question of time before we all have what we want!!

You are right Chan.Posting on the wrong share.Just answering Davius,and forgot where I was.But hell you should maybe give it a look yourself if you manage to take a profit from the MONSTER!

Have researched this one and I have to agree it has enormous potential.Cannot imagine why it has dropped back to circa 80p on confirmed vast gas finds though.Have placed an order with my broker for 8000 at 82p limit.He has advised that there are four mms on this one and they have very different buy/sell ranges.For example one mm will only buy at 75p and the top range mm is at 78p.Likewise on the sell the lowest price is 82 going up to a top price of 86p.Very strange indeed!!

If you were anywhere near yourbreakeven berhaps it would be wiser to opt out in the belief that 25 days is a long time for MOB,and the mms constant fiddling with the sp.It rose 2p over yesterdays close from the opening bell but could very easily drop like the clappers any day.Have been watching FEP and was tempted just before the rns to invest,so luckily I saved myself at least short term.I questioned to myself why you would have moved on a share that had taken a steep rise as they mostly drop just as quick.However,me thinks there could be something afoot(!) and will closely follow.

vodka martini SHAKEN and Stirred.Just like this sp earlier this week.They shook me up well and truly and zero interest in MOB currently.But as all posters know only too well this one is as volitile as heck.Still26 days left until ZEDs period runs out and so much can happen in a short space of time.And unfortunatly some others may get the mm shakes.However best of luck to all still in.Unfortunatly my steel balls gave in!!

First rns from this source.Indicates larger amount of sells than buys which is strange,albeit only a few hundred.Surely ZED must notify the market of any dealings whatsoever and if this is the case why bother for the small transactions stated?

Overslept this morning and am not in as yet.Monitoring and will place a 70 thousand order at some stage today.However even that is showing sharp upward and downward swings of 1p so trying to get in at around 27.5p.Maybe not possible but worth the try.If not better to wait

I will need to keep on top of any movement over the next couple of days.Perhaps you are better off holding pearing in mind it was a total overkill on the rns.Problem is that this share can take a turn for the worst for no reason whatsoever as when it nosedived down to 34p on little trading approx 10 days ago.My cash is going into PRTY tomorrow as I see that as a way to recoup my 20% loss on MOB.Additionally,if the opportunity arises and PRTY are in profit the money can be transferred back to MOB.However I will be looking for a cheap entry level

Tonight will be a dinner out with the misses bottle of Chardonnay and a few beers to settle the days anxiety caused by these god damn shares! Least I have learned one lesson and that is not to put a large amount into a share that I think is bargain basement,Better a smaller return/loss when you hold back for an unexpected drop.
