Agree FOX, hopefully in due course we will see a rush back up, financially we are trending that way and we have a lot of new clients now on board to help us get there

I may be the only one that seen a lot of positives in the last RNS (rose tinted it may be) but they did state that 'Although this number of units is less than previously indicated, following successful testing of the Tetis units in the field and acceptance by end customers, the Company has entered into a new agreement with WIMC, replacing the previous agreement'

Is this a material change in business? It doesn't appear to be, but for the Tetis product standalone, it does, as it
1. Confirms Tetis has passed all expectations by the client
2. The trial period has ended
3. Because of the above the client has committed to a new agreement stating potential for more orders
4. Explains low sales from previous order (Trial period)

cheaper price, but actually if you run all the numbers the discount is likely to be around 6%

Of course what the RNS does mean is this partnership now has to deliver

Unfortunately looks like mr 250K seller halted any progress in the SP today, traders market at the minute, look at MKA shocking

Wentz I agree, although I think we have improved considerably in 2019 and we appear to be really breaking into the American market, which bodes well for less placings!

Although the SP is shocking, I feel this is not just down to the company only, hopefully a change in trend very soon, we are certainly releasing news more frequently now

Major positives
- USA based, access to loans, bank facility etc
- Tetis, best product in the portfolio in terms of value and SAS
- Existing client satisfied and promising to order more

This is great news for Starcom and Tetis, a product that struggled to turn over more than 1m per annum could be getting it from one existing

The potential of the agreement is game changing, 30000 units connected at even 2 dollars per month SAS would be significant, although we cannot expect this many, even 3400 per annum for the next 3 years gives us over 10000 units connected at a healthy price

Should WIMC grow (and we are really entering a digital age in the shipping world) then again I reiterate, Starcom can be a very healthy, profitable company from the growth of its existing client base

what is the cash burn, how much do they have left, what do they plan on doing with it?
How is the solarwinds deal going?
What about BAU, are the products getting recognition, any new clients externally?

Just wrote this all out and LSE crashed so here goes again

1) Shiptek Investment from Union Bank for 30% (XLOG) - Will this result in a big order, who knows, but the volume is potentially rising significantly from 3000 TEU in the last months of 2018 to 50-80,000 target in 2019
2) Zero Motorcycle Public release of pre-orders estimated Mid April, will we get any numbers, probably not but if there's a whiff those numbers are promising, that could be great for the SP (and the H1 results)
3) DAV Network e-scooter release, probably only small but scheduled for Q2 (and ebikes in Q3)
4) Bosch Hannover Messe, 1-5th April, cant believe it has been a year... here we go again
5) New Presentation, hopefully this week may have some more news and growth figures, although haven't seen any buying...
6) Watchlock release, scheduled for the next 2 months, just revenue but hopefully a decent amount (more than the 250K surely)
7) Cropx, likely to be summer 2019 I think but this is the biggest news of the year for me, once they move to a new sales model they could really see some acceleration in sales
8) Contguard plod on as normal, same with WIMC, Cubemonk not expecting anything, Pinnacle/Xplosive etc. probably just BAU maybe we will see a Kenyan deal who knows
9) rest of the NA payment would be very welcomed!
10) and last if I have to mention, that old UN tender we have been waiting 2 years for

Can't speak for whole BOD but I believe Uri is owed something like £500K from bail out loans to the company in 2017, which gave me complete faith it is in their best interests (or at least his, and hes the tech guru so the guy we need most!)

I think it is more likely a competitor would buy out starcom for access to the emerging e-mobility market

I couldn't see them selling, no interested parties would be able to come to agreement IMO
Starcom would say we have X amount of Pipeline, Trails and also existing clients such as CropX, Bosch, Contguard, Shiptek, Zero etc. that we expect to be company makers in 2 years time
The buyer would say well your MCAP is only 3.5m so unless they had the same vision, it just simply would not happen

I think once starcom becomes profitable (in the next 12 months) and evidence of growth regarding all these partnerships becomes clear (and who knows, a few more would be nice) then parties may be able to bridge the valuation gap

I think Bosch are happy to work with Starcom, people forget how hands on the technical team is, this is also why Zero are happy to work with us, CropX etc. Because when a problem arises, Starcom find a way to fix it/develop something to solve it - such as JV Techno with the fuel sensors, Zero with a low power consumption tracking and remote monitoring product, CropX with satellite issues... Starcom RNS that after a tough technical requirement we met the needs of Bosch

One hopes the retail release and marketing of this new product will happen soon, again hope being the key word of course

Hmm just re-read the RNS, still surely the amount of cash raised will not be blown unless it is guaranteed that business will improve to profitability... one hopes

are they keeping it all back for maximum impact well if they are then how we’re they allowed to buy shares? Surely knowing information of that level would prevent them buying? Or am I Wrong?

Company needs to let shareholders know how this solarwinds deal is panning out, what is the point in announcing something that is meant to be game changing and then not giving a single update in the following months, just makes investors think that it has fallen apart and you've achieved much less than you first believed was possible

Really wanted to build a position here but communication is key to any investment and this one just seems like your going to be left in the dark, if they show some positive growth from these deals or other deals then it'll create a decent investment case, but atm I just see no news and nobody has a clue - at least they have a lot of cash to keep them going hopefully to become profitable, I assume that was the reason for the large investment

Hope it comes off short term for you Fox but each to their own decisions and time frames
Lets just hope that UN tender comes in or we get a big order from Shiptek on the back of the union bank investment, that would sort us out for 2019 already

Fox they need to improve the balance sheet, the cost of sales is way too high and so are the admin expenses

you have a business that generates so much money and still makes a loss

I'll counter it by saying my long term view counters this thanks to high margin SaaS, but short term this has always been a concern for me and something I would like to see improve

hopefully the new products are higher margin, theyve closed offices, moved locations, aparantly got better supplier deals, so this is all extra stuff I will be looking for in the results

Of course my LTV is that our current clients can growth to enable us to generate a sufficient SaaS base to cover our operating loss and then some, in the medium to long term (12-36 months) making us a healthy profitable company (all in my own opinion do your own research)
