US investors will surely be surprised a chip company positioned as well as this is right now is priced as low as this.

Comparing the metrics with the typical US name, this is stonking value.

If IQE can see those sort of gains with that balance sheet, anything is possible. To my mind far better to be a designer like this, rather than manufacturer like IQE. Sky's the limit with margins here, whereas IQE loss making for many years. Looks like we could be breaking out here, and rightly so.

It does have all the right ingredients. Sector white hot. You never know, could be a future giant.

To answer your question I only had on my watchlist back in 2023 when that happened. At the time the investment case wasn't good enough for me because the company was loss making and revenue was a fraction of what it is today.

Fast forward to late last year when I invested, I saw it as a very different prospect. Being on the cusp of profitability, revenue having significantly increased, and moving to being cash generative - while still overlooked by the market - seemed a sweetspot moment to buy in.

The company has more cash in the bank today than the overall revenue was for 2023. Things have changed. Quite dramatically.

The company reported year end cash £3.25m - and that was after repaying a mortgage. Massive in proportion to market cap. Just read the financial reports. Last year loss was absolutely tiny and the company is now at stage where acquisition fully integrated and thriving, to the point of the overall business cash generative, and soon significantly so. Anyone talking about a placing is on a wind up.

Backdrop looks primed here. Seems every day now its making the news how defence spend will need to dramatically increase.

Very strong signal we had this week, with Pentwater Capital buy up that slug of shares from co-founder to increase their position significantly here this week. Those guys have billions of dollars of assets under management, very atypical for them to be investing in a UK listed micro cap like this. Interesting clue.

True a decent amount of cash added to kitty. Would much rather see these cleared now before TSX unhalt when this story really begins. For Eric Sprott to now own 19.9% of company quite huge in itself. Can't really go wrong following this guy. Timing also interesting, to see him firm up this position now.

We're definitely seeing quite a decisive shift here over last couple of weeks. Seems quite significant accumulation happening now, with momentum continuing to build.

Certainly encouraging to see signs wider market is finally starting to wake up to RUA, has been a sleeping giant for too long.

Does look promising, and appears to have the volume to back it this time too.

Still a very long way to go as we know, but it is about time the market started to wake up to this.

Suspect quite a few are just quietly and confidently holding this without needing to comment all the time, doesn't necessarily mean unloved.

If that's addressed to me, this should go without saying really, but a permit is necessary to operate. What changed today is the company announcing the Andacollo flagship is permitted. So that's why they can hit the ground running.

Agree all looks good to me. For me the most key part of today's update was the Andacollo permit. You sense it's only as these Canadian listing rules are so stringent they have to give all that detail on transaction and chronology, makes you realise how much of a free-for-all Aim is by comparison. But as far as the mine is concerned, bit that matters to us, once Canadian paperwork side of things clear, that permit should enable them to hit the ground running.

Bid has certainly nudged up and interestingly I can sell 100,000 of these in one hit today. That definitely wasn't case yesterday. Seeing a lot of level 2 support on buy side. All to play for, not least seeing where gold goes from here, but that backdrop looks promising with it seeing support from sub $4.4k lows earlier in the week. GL

Bought in here. On 5 year support, looks like a decent level to me.

Market has been very tough on this stock, probably not helped by the geopolitical madness and PE walking. But always thought this would be too highly geared for your traditional PE buyout and posted as such a few months ago. Net debt at a high level already, so not much meat on the bone left. But clearly a deal is still in play, plenty of other buyers out there. Perhaps from a peer within sector this time, rather than PE. Either way, in everyone's interest in getting some form of M&A done here.

Momentum noticeably building now with very decent support on level 2. Less than £10k of stock available sub 10p so I'd expect that to clear relatively quickly, perhaps by market close today. It helps to know that chair happy to pay this price, so we should see a decent support level from this baseline. GL

That's the beauty of having a diversified customer base.

You can pick whether you're more bullish about the civilian side or the defence side, personally I'm the latter, but whichever you might favour, what ultimately matters is that the company has broad demand from asymmetric markets.

Agree looks good. Setting out for "delivering material shareholder value" reads well. Reading between the lines, the confidence of that statement may well be a tentative signal they have some key developments in the pipeline. For them to even give that relatively short term timeframe of weeks/months, suggests we may not have to wait long for some positive news here. GL

Agree very decent results. It gives a real sense of the value that the company's freehold properties alone worth way in excess of market cap. 100% fully owned and mortgage free.

Everything else moved in right direction. Management proving nimble at moving to growth product lines. Revenue way up, with profit to go with it. Cash up. Liabilities slashed. Bullish outlook. Even have that reinstatement of dividend as a tangible signal the business is now firing on all cylinders.
