Agree with all of that Hexam. The way a message is conveyed reveals a lot. Taking on more debt at an exorbitant rate might be a necessary evil but to be self-congratulatory about it strikes totally wrong chord.

Anyone holding these shares has been in dark for months now, at this point least they deserve is an actual date for results. Until now funding being £175m, up from £125m original facility, only being mentioned in press in itself a bit of a scandal that plc leaking so much critical and specific information.

Good posts guys, the last few updates have laid foundations and give a clear near term timeframe for next catalysts which you don't often see, really is all to play for here.

Press reports about debt facility being sought £175m were proven absolutely correct, usual suspect was in denial about that as per.

On the one hand market will probably be temporarily relieved results will be published, but other takeaway is they've had to take on £50m more debt here. Implies trading behind previous guidance. With 11th hour timing imo implies auditors demanded this additional headroom in order to sign off accounts as going concern, so things appear to still be very much touch and go.

Whenever you see bios as gushing as this you just know it's a mask. Nobody secure in their position needs to go this far. He'll be more aware than anyone he has real problem with post-Debs career at other plcs based on share price destruction alone while he's been in charge.

The Numis stuff is part of a deliberate strategy at this point. He's been at it since IPO, inventing enemies like this is kind of magic trick in an attempt to distract away from how the business is actually performing.

The guy is not stupid and it's worked to extent some people did buy into the myth of Matt vs all these nasty made up entities who somehow have it in for him personally. I am sure quite a few even bought shares believing him to be some kind of anti-establishment crusader. But then you look at the detail. Half of these banks were involved with the IPO that made him millions. He's publicly bashing them but in private was banking £££ working with them.

Opening up to US investors could really blow the doors off here. Today's RNS gives us a huge amount of certainty now, clear timetable, so many catalysts coming, all within next 6 weeks.

During that post-Covid exuberance they were IPOing any old sh*te at crazy prices - but after investors lost their shirts on those names that period sadly became a lingering stain on reputation of London market as a whole.
