They've been a bit cute with timing with vote going ahead tomorrow, they may get it over the line now. Did say ideal scenario would be a Lithia counter, and here we are so taking profits, market price more than good enough for me. Having said that could still be a bit of mileage in this with further counter bids, but being down to 11th hour seems a good time to derisk.

Agree Kaeren, there is a real urgency for anything that assists in fight against cancer. I don't see this as being a 10 year timeframe, we're much deeper into the cycle than that, this isn't a startup anymore. With them being fully funded and having the product on the shelf the brakes are off now.

This share has been absolutely hammered since I was last in but has now dropped too far imo, so I'm back in.

They unquestionably dropped the ball on F1 manager but now believe all the bad news is more than priced in and having dropped this far makes it absolutely ripe for acquisition - especially while industry is consolidating.

Also quite promisingly a number of sh*tcoins have made some gains this week, yes I know we don't really care about those, but in the past there have been times they've foreshadowed bullish bitcoin moments pretty well, as a kind of precursor green shoots signal. Makes sense that the less liquid and speculative things move first while bigger money takes a little longer to crank into gear.

It's quite striking when you compare and contrast management here with the average Aim biotech wannabe. Normally such companies will endlessly dilute, directors being happy to milk shareholders and drag it on as long as they have enough in the kitty for their own salaries.

With OBD it speaks volumes they have fronted their own cash at multiples of today's share price. And only raising at a premium is almost unheard of anywhere else. Meanwhile rather than just giving a distant promise they actually keep delivering, culminating in last week's news. That's why I believe this team can take it all the way.

The big issue with MRIs is they are extremely expensive because of the cost of the machines. Not every hospital has one, they require specialists to operate and those facilities that have one can have a significant queue because they're used to help diagnose numerous other different conditions.

Whereas a blood sample could be taken by a nurse at a local surgery then sent off to the lab just like any other test. This has the potential to be a real game changer and opening up speedy diagnosis for millions of men.

I don't understand why anyone would be so keen to talk this down. Forget about the share price for a moment and think of the health implications. What OBD has developed is the quite simply the most accurate blood test for prostate cancer on the planet. It's an incredible achievement, a genuine scientific breakthrough.

This share has become like a runaway freight train. It's a story that can be universally appreciated, anything assisting in the fight against cancer can only be a good thing.

Matt Moaning is head of a plc and with that comes proper reporting norms and - as much as he wishes it wasn't the case - means he's accountable to all shareholders, not just those who have joined his fanclub on twitter or wherever.

Rather than spending his time being a mid-rate influencer I'm sure most of those shareholders would prefer it if he kept his head down and focused on delivering. And ffs stick to the established channels for news - RNSs are pretty great. Leave the other guff to PR.

OBD is highly unusual as it's only done placings at or close to a premium. That's the real plus having directors being major shareholders and high levels of institutional support, they're highly motivated to support the share price. They just raised £6.1m last month meaning they now have a very long cash runway.

The Nomad should be all over this. I've seen some real shenanigans on Aim over the years but this might top it all.

Creating a private company offshoot which only the directors own, so they get rid of their pesky plc shareholders and accountability. Then give that offshoot all the trade to the extent that the plc is bound by exclusivity to trade only with the offshoot. It's a one way street where the plc becomes dependent on the offshoot which then parasitically takes all of the upside with none of the liabilities. It's absolutely shameless.

His constant criticism of the media makes for uncomfortable reading. Our free press is one of our most important but underrated assets, just ask the people of Hong Kong.

For his claims about negativity he's only seeing things through the lens of reporting about him and THG. Looks like he's been lobbying this Clare hard. But by thinking the world revolves around him what he misses is that no journalists are constantly slating the likes of Legal & General or any other boring but performing plc. On the other hand if a firm is underperforming or has questionable leadership or some other quirky thing, the media have every right to report on that.

Not seeing any evidence of novice buyers being significant here davey. This is one of those companies where the more due diligence you do, the more you realise how unique it is.

The 39p buy was for £300k worth, would have to be either corporate or a high net worth individual, not a beginner. Those are the sorts of levels of buys that actually move the share price. Rewind before today and directors have paid well in excess of today's share price, so even if novices were buying in large numbers credit to them as they'd still have been paying less than insiders.
