No catalyst for SP and therefore only way is painfully down. Pebble the increase in cases seems irrelevant to Novacyts cause. Govt has set the pace of " living with Covid" . Fact is that unless NCYT comes up with something unique and innovative the SP will simply be eaten away. The 100m is a buffer but really can be reduced substantially with Staff and R & D costs together with DHSC dispute costs/decision. The Gold Standard product that was hailed has fallen into oblivion. Talk of a bid are just fantasy at this stage. The CEO does not inspire confidence at all with his blabber and vague talk.

Hans... you can agree to disagree but everyone free to express opinion. Investors lost a lot of money being influenced by irresponsible rampers who have now vanished from the scene at their expense. There is now , in my view, no immediate catalyst to justify buying the share. Vague CEO talk is not enough and the market is not at all impressed with money at the Bank.

Thanks Archy. Fully support your view. You have the guts and good sense to call a spade a spade. NCYT is like a falling knife. CEO statement is just words without any tangible backing. Lots of generic statements .Investor interest has been shaken and lost.

John , the SP has not gone down only because of the DHSC dispute but more the cause of lack of complete confidence and conviction that Nova can raise funds from non covid revenues . The CEO interview is testimony of this. Lots of talk but very little substance and direction.

Aber, forget about any offer for SAR at this stage. Too many question marks and delays will persist.

What positive comments ? just a partial recoup of yesterday's loss. Downtrend still intact.

DRB, transparency on Nova do not go together. The CEO is simply non existent and communications horrendous. DHSC issue will not be resolved one way or another anytime soon. Just generic talk about future "plans" which the market is not buying. I have stated before that i have sold my shares and intended to buy again. But certainly not in these circumstances. Will wait by the sidelines for the moment. But not expecting any "miracle"

Dr Zed The consolidation process goes hand in hand with a lower SP prior to consolidation. Have seen it happen numerous times. SP will rise only if there is a clear pathway . For now we are nowhere near a catalyst which would justify further appreciation . I remain an LTH having an average price of 2p but remain feet firmly on the ground. There are no guarantees and cannot rule out that in spite of the science and prospects there will be delays .
